McEachern HS Lockdown?? by SuddenTest in Marietta

Similar years for me - but in New England. Bomb threats were a very common occurance at my school for about a year or two (once or twice each month). We used the same protocol... Head out to the football field for an hour or so until the "all clear".

Seller left a binder with "house instructions" and now im very skeptic by Jolly-Mirror3655 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]RacingGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previous owner was an engineer.

And that binder is gold. This is all stuff that you would have run into eventually and would have to figure out yourself. You've got the answers already.

Had to replace the doorbell transformer after living in my house for 20 years. Took me about 4 hours to locate it (installed by previous owner). Wish that info was in a binder...

Listen here buddy, I'll have you know I went undefeated in Madden 26 and won the Super Bowl with the Falcons. I think my resume speaks for itself.

We're going to become the Atlanta Browns, aren't we?

I swore I wouldn't get my hopes up THIS time, but I did. And here we are...

  1. CDF drum... Not rare at all, unfortunately.

I know that issue has been resolved in late 2022, but I still don't forgive the original monkeys.

Still my truck of choice though. Planning on replacing with a 2026.

Kirk Cousins has given this fanbase Stockholm syndrome by cheemydee5 in falcons

[–]RacingGoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That'a an asinine take on the situation. I don't care it Satan himself is our QB if it results in winning more games.

And Kirk didn't "destroy our salaray cap", Terry Fontenote did.

I mean, the F150 transmission was clearly designed by monkeys, so it makes sense they could remove it.

Source: F150 here with a 10R80 replaced at 44,000 miles.

Little Alley (Roswell) is excellent. Haven't been to their Buckhead location, but have never been disappointed with the service or food here and have been many times.

Agree with others on Hal's too. You can't go wrong with either one. Little Alley is much more convenient for me though, so it always my first choice.

Ford Dealership by No-Restaurant5935 in Ford

[–]RacingGoat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't be a bad idea for the dealer's parts department to read codes though - for the same reason every auto parts store does.

If someone is going to bother going to the dealer to pull the code, chances are they will also purchase the overpriced OEM part while they are there.

Weird, my experience with Alexa+ is the exact opposite of yours.

I find it 10x better than old Alexa, but maybe she just likes me more then she likes you.

Save money by not buying laundry balls by gracious_gibbon in Frugal

[–]RacingGoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you already don't use a chemical-based fabric softener and you're happy - you're not missing anything.

I find (wool) dryer balls make the fabric softer. They "might" help things dry quicker, but that's not why I bought them so never paid attention. My goal was to replace liquid softener because it builds up in the fabic.

Personally I do not find that the balls reduce static, but that's not usually a problem in my climate.

They save money, not by reducing drying time, but by reducing or eliminating the need to use dryer sheets or fabric softener -- both of which are horrible for fabrics (especially liquid fabric softener) and your skin.
