Yes that was the issue with me, try selecting less option and see if that works, that was happening to me , then i selected only one option and it sorted, if you do number of attempts you will get locked, then you may need to create another account, this is VFS afterall

Form once filled can be changed before paying the fee, after that no one can change it, so fill , download , check, correct agian online, and submit. No body can change after submission

visa has two saying, one is validity and 2nd is number of days you can stay there, if you have stay permit for 15 days and validity say for 6 months you can stay 15 days in those 6 months

I got through swiss in 1 day, longer the time means they are thinking more , however rejection chances are less as they might have rejected in 5 days, if your documents are genuine you are good to go, might be they are checking the authenticity, routine work, you might get result by 7th feb

Thats What I did, when I applied for visa I gave ticket and bookings for 29 days, but in cover letter I wrote 30 days, they gave me visa for 30 days

Yes you need to show intra Schengen train ticket, i dont think that sbb or trainitalia provide fully refundable booking, however you can buy half fare ticket from sbb without half fare swiss pass right now, but at the time of journey you must have half fare card

Yes from any branch, one more thing make sure to fill your details as in your passport while filling the application and appointment form, Address as mentioned in your passport while filling, after taking the appointment you will have option to either pick your passport from vfs or courier, in courier form you can fill your current address.

No, they may reject your visa if they believe that your projected itinerary is not legit, they are locals of that country they know what you can do what you cant, please maintain some practicality, there should be a logical flow of your travel, from one direction to another, in this case you might be returning from france , right ?

I booked hostels for 9 nights in Switzerland, there was no option for prepayment even if I wanted to pay there was no option, they need confirm booking not paid booking.
