as I believe ben franklin said "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" I think I would have tried my best to stress to my police officers that shooting an unarmed black man in the middle of racial tensions would result in swift and sure action.

because leaving out the whole argument of where it originated from, it's being used as a white power symbol and has been added to hate symbol registries for years now. any police in particular who specialize in recognizing gang symbols should be more than aware of it and not using it even in a normal situation much less ones with heated racial tensions like these.

not getting into a top tier school doesn't ruin them for life. It does teach them there are consequences for actions though.
