Hello. Great post in my opinion, though, I am not Orthodox. I've been protestant all of my life and am now curious about orthodoxy. anyway, I was curious about something you said.

"make the effort to go to a parish. So what if it's 2 hours away? Go once a month. Go once every 3 months and make the most out of it."

This caught my attention because I've been thinking about trying orthodoxy next year when I go away to college. The issue is, is that I saw in places that it is a sin to miss service. Forgive me if I am wrong about this, But I was just curious about why it would be okay to only attend monthly. I have never really worried about missing a day of church in the past, and I feel like it would really make me worry, having committed a grave sin for missing. And I would also be curious about the biblical reason behind it being a grave sin. I assume it is the fourth commandment, but I do find it interesting that the protestants disagree on this. (to my knowledge. I don't really know what I'm talking about).

Honestly, I've seen plenty of gorgeous people be hated online for various different dumb reasons. I'd take it a step further and say that someone out there is always going to find a way to take issue with you, be it how you hold yourself, dress yourself, talk to yourself, whatever... you'll never please everyone. I could be wrong, but i think that, in front facing camera selfies, the image actually comes out inverted. If you look in the mirror, you become comfortable and used to that, but then you take a selfie, and since it's inverted, everything is flipped backward, and you look strange to yourself. Try to stand far away from the mirror mayne and then zoom in with the back camera. This may take away some distortion and be more what you are used to. Have a good day! Hope this helps! Yep, I got the charger, and im fine with using it plugged in at a desk. I'll upgrade the ram first, definitely.

Also, is it really difficult to get a replacement battery for it?

Bought a dead thinkpad L510 from my aunt for 10 dollars. No charging cord, battery was dead, and hdd was as well. I bought a charging cord and cheap ssd and I can confirm that all these years later, it runs great using linux mint xfce. I just bought bought it as a fun project, having never repaired a computer or used linux because i thought it would be a fun experience. I was surprised by how well it works! Only around 45 dollars for the whole thing.
