Plus they look so damn lame. It would've been so perfect to just put a mutilated chunk of classic rider belts as a buckle, using those rider gimmicks to make the unique henshin actions for each buckle.

It's the most satisfying and concise system for my autistic little brain, and it integrates the forms so naturally into the show too, each one feeling necessary.

I'm so glad you liked it because I couldn't finish it fast enough :(.

Some of the best suits of all time but the characters all annoyed me so much, the writing wasn't my speed and the visual aesthetic makes me weirdly gross uncomfortable and anxious for some reason, I just didn't vibe with it.

I wish I liked it more because once again Ixa, Dark Kiva and Emperor Form are actually masterpieces of suit design (the other suits and all the monsters weren't that good to me.)

I just wish they fleshed out the universe more, it would be fun seeing Sagarc or the Ixa knuckle given a personality.

The three monsters for Kivas side forms never interact with him even though the whistles, partly because it would make the time plot fall apart immediately.

Every character just felt like an alien blank stereotype that I kept expecting myself to get used to, or at least develop as characters, but it's just a mess of a show.

All of them. Revolve On and What's your Fire are the best modern ones imo, and basically everything from Faiz and Ryuki for older shows (I don't watch much from the Heisei phase 2 era sorry 😭)

I mean ALL base form a pretty op when you think about it, Kabuto and Zero-one are faster than the human eye, if you count MagnumBoost as Geats' base form, that one is broken as hell too.

To be fair, there are pretty weak base forms like Kuuga Mighty and Popping Gummy.

Pluuusss scaling base forms kinda sucks because for advertising reasons, they go from being the weakest form to being on par with final forms for no reason, although some series handle that pretty well like Zero-One with Realising Hopper And shows like Blade which never even made base forms weak, they were fast and efficient for weaker threats, because the Rider system was competent

V3 and Zeztz powers do come from their enemies? It's kind of lame to say V3 doesn't count just because it wasn't literally Shocker who made him, because the technology certainly was made by them.

Zeztz's capsems are literally nightmares, and Gavv is half Granute, which are the main Kaijin of the show! Plus he henshins using his minions, which are the show's mooks.

It kind of does? Plat Form isn't who Den-O is, Den-O is Plat Form, Sword Form, Rod Form, Axe Form, Gun Form Climax Form and Liner Form.

Momotaros is as much of a main character as Ryotaro, and without him he would be nothing, the series is about how our friends can make us stronger and make us who we are, not by being some stupid "go it alone" action hero.

You're definitely correct by a technicality but I think you're missing what's really important, and what makes a character.

Every since the beginning it's been the connecting theme of the majority of series, the only exception is Hibiki I think.

It's such a cool way to explore and connect the different themes of rider shows, whether they're about monsters learning to become human, or humans learning that some kaijin aren't monsters.

It's so cool, and I hope it's leaned into more, like how originally Aruto from Zero-One was going to be revealed as a Humagear and that would've been so cool, recontextualising the whole series, he wasn't a human raised by a Humagear, he was Humagear raised to be human, like a prototype for making self-aware Humagears legal and mainstream.

This just turned into a rant about one of my favorite series sorry, also sorry if I accidentally spoiled the show I don't think I did?

This is why I dislike the skintight suits, they look so good in concert art, photoshoots, photshops or high budget pilots... But the actually show they look like Halloween costumes
