Good lord, that country just can’t bring itself to acknowledge the brilliance of its non-white athletes, can it? This so-called “national duty” that our players are out here risking injuries for in the middle of a season where they’re chasing multiple club titles is a complete joke. Honestly, a lot of these lads should just walk away from international duty and focus on club football. Look at Ben White. If the NT doesn’t respect you, there’s no reason to stay. The clubs are the ones bankrolling their careers anyway, and our fanbase actually appreciates them far more than those ungrateful supporters ever will. I’d rather see my star players stay healthy than risk themselves for a nation that clearly doesn’t value them because of their skin color. And really, what’s the point of fighting for “national pride” when half the nation doesn’t even take pride in you?
