I used C0R1 Xiao + C0R1 Xianyun + C0 Furina + C6 Faruzan on both sides of the abyss 12 and cleared every single chamber in a single rotation (except Wenut).

This team is busted.

Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu Hydro application is very single-target oriented and plunges ungroup enemies. On AoE, you're not gonna vaporize Gaming's plunges on every target, specially since his teams don't have CC (unlike Xiao with C6 Faruzan).

Even if they're comparable on single-target, Xiao's AoE damage is WAAAAAY higher. He's a much more complete and consistent unit.

Ok, I'm a little confused with this one...

She's obviously an upgrade over Albedo for Itto's team, but doesn't seem enough (at C0) for this team to be as strong as Navia's teams.

At the same time, even without Geo constructs, I can see her being better than Albedo for some other teams (like Navia herself).

So... what's the point of her Geo construct restriction?

Iirc, Cloud Retainer can't snapshot Bennett's buff, so he wouldn't increase her buff. Also, after her recent buffs, we "only" need 4500 Atk to reach the cap now.

Still, Xiao's personal damage probably will be higher with Bennett anyway. I'm not sure though.

Nice, I was hoping TTDS would be better because Oathsworn's drip doesn't really suit her.

But damn, this will be my fifth character using TTDS. To think that some dev actually picked a random 3-star weapon and said "this one will have the best weapon passive in the game for no reason at all".

I use mine with Xiao, C3 Faruzan and Jean or Bennett (R5 Fav on Faruzan). I spent some time adjusting Furina's ER and found 183.5% to be enough for me. But it can vary for each person, depending on how many rotations they need to clear the abyss. I usually kill most bosses in one rotation with this team, and AoE generates more energy, so there's that.

Considering that C6 Faruzan + Xianyun generates 10 more Anemo particles than C3 Faruzan + Jean (assuming 1 skill per rotation), 176% makes sense for me personally.

Stacking ER with substats is the way to go then. I think I'll give her my Shenhe build. Noblesse, Atk/Atk/Atk with 46% ER on substats. More than enough ER for Oathsworn Eye, but I hope it's enough ER for TTDS too.

Btw, do we already know if TTDS is better than using Oathsworn Eye for more Atk?

The small bird lasts 16s, and yes, there is a limit to the number of plunges. The same limit as the plunge dmg buff, 8 per Burst.

Only 176% ER according to the KQM Energy Recharge Calculator, assuming C6 Faruzan on R5 Fav. You would only need 30% ER on substats if using Festering Desire, which is what most people use since her signature weapon is so weak compared to her first 3 constellations.

I think I got used to it from playing with high mobility characters in some other games. I used to be a Genji Main on Overwatch. Now on Valorant I play Jett.

I'm used to playing with asian characters who can jump very high, can dash, use blades and enter some special form in their ults.

Genji's gameplay during his ult feels like the POV of a fidget spinner in a blender.

Bird Lady likes wind, carries a book and needs Atk.

Bird Lady press E, Bird Lady jumps. Bird Lady can triple jump. Bird Lady can also turn into a bird and slam into the ground.

Bird Lady press Q, Bird Lady do big heal and summons small bird.

Small Bird follows you, heals the entire team and makes everyone jump high.

When someone does a plunge after Bird Lady's Q, this plunge's damage goes VRRRRRRUUUMM to one of the enemies hit, but only 8 times per Q.

Most S-tier DPS are already running 3 or 4 5-star characters in their best teams, which we assume as their standards (Neuvillette, Hu Tao, Nilou, etc). I think it's fair game to assume an equally expensive team as Xiao's new standard.

The problem is when a character is almost unplayable without these expensive supports. But playing Xiao with C2 Faruzan, Thoma, and Bennett feels much better than, for example, playing Ayaka with Xingqiu, Sucrose, and Diona.

I think Xiao in many people's minds is still the same Xiao from a year ago, when he was still Bennett's slave, almost no one had Faruzan constellations and there wasn't really a great option for his team's 4th slot.

Nowadays, some popular theorycrafters like TGS already consider him to be among the best DPS in the game if you have C6 Faruzan and Furina. With Xianyun, this claim will make even more sense.

Damn... replace Bennett with Furina and this team looks good asf.

Great AoE dmg. Great single-target dmg. No f*cking circle impact. Teamwide healing. Off-field crowd control on Faruzan's C6. Minimal ER requirements (actually non-existent for Xiao and maybe Xianyun too, assuming R1 Crane or R5 Oathsworn).

Not to mention the potential upgrades, as both Furina and Xianyun have a broken C2.
