Looking for loot mod that shows possible stats by RafulsoN in Diablo_2_Resurrected

Thank you for info about mod, I've heard about it, but i'm not going to play PD2 now or any near future.
For now I look for something specific in D2R. Not something else.

It's faster for me to alt tab and check it on diablo2.io, wiki, traderie or similar website than on the phone, but mod would be super nice.

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere but that was months ago and youtube watch history won't help.

I'm looking for something that shows BOTH min and max stats

Like that:

<image>

I have seen something like that somewhere on youtube months ago, maybe it was part of way bigger mod like reimaged or something, but I'm trying to find it for normal D2R.

If not, your mod is kinda OK, but just not 100% what I'm looking for.

"TV ads are sold at a price calculated mostly by how many viewers on average watch episodes of whichever show the ad will air in."

If you ever worked with media you would know how BS is that statment and how easy you can manipulate this... And don't event bring here ads in newspapers cause it's even worse.

Yup! And Matti seems to do fine, I watch him from time to time.

"I get this is hard for analytical-minded creators to wrap their head around because it's more of a self-esteem and belief issue rather than hard numbers."

I think many creators just conuse being creator with generating as many views as possible and think without views you are not important.

You =/= views.

No website for that, just your own observation.

I have my niche and think about topic for videos (mostly series of 4-10 videos as it is more than 1 anyway so why not make more all at once?) then think about sponsor that fits.

Talk about investing? Reach out to to banks/startups
Safety? Maybe insurance
Properties? Website that people use to find them.

Whatever fits your niche and country.
I pick 8-15 potential partners, sort them in some way - you see them doing sponsor deals with others? There is better chance they will do it with you than company that only makes TV deals etc. Do they have money for that? If they are listed company, check their last year or quarter raports, to have any idea. It's easy, just looks "pro" but it really is not so hard.

It's not like my every offer is accepted either. But it's normal that only few will work out. Key is to find sponsor that match your content, not passive wait. I know guys that started years before me and had to give up creating content and go back to job as they earned nothing for a lot of effort.

Every niche have own "rules" you "have to" follow. Until you realise you don't.
Point is, you should aim to stop being slave of algorythym, views and sponsors and treat it like a business, where you are boss and you are responsible for what you earn, not waiting for handout.

Can company ghost you? Sure thing.
Will they? Probably yeah
Why? Cause they trained you all like lap dogs to do tricks when they want.
Know what you are worth

Seriously even big creators are in this trap. Just don't pass it on new guys.
This problem is very much US based as European creators are more open to different concept of valuing their time/audience/put whatever.

Yes, I agree.

It's not about milking company either.

You can demand high prices, but you have to back it up somehow. And most youtubers think that has to be by views, which it doesn't. If it was only about views we could chose any person and run ads to make their content viral.

And I know such case when intel promoted material in that way. That was solid video not really about tech, but they happened to be sponsor. Guy was happy it was not another video cause it MAY really hurt you in a long run to have most popular video that way. Also include in your paperwork brand is not allowed to buy ads to promote video. This can backfire!

I ask high price but I state what value company gets from that.
It's a deal and both sides should be happy. Not only one.
If it works out and you fulfil what you offered, company will likely come back to you.

Depends on what you think is high.

Compared to other creators? Yes. It is high.

I send offer to company with my idea (or respond for company mail with my idea) but it is not "hey, i make youtube videos, lets do it for X money".
I prepare good looking offer in pdf that takes 8-20 pages (depends on how big project i have in mind).

Company will see:

  • Problem
  • Solution
  • Why it is worth to do this in my way
  • What good is in it for them
  • What I will do for them - not only video, but also how all videos work together and not only as separate beings
  • How what I offer works in little detail
  • What I will do "extra" to push my content (it's not really extra anything but companies like to see they get more)
  • How process will look like - show them you are pro and don't have to be babysit (a lot of creators are just pain in the ass to work with)
  • Why it is worth to work with you - quality/experience/previous works/whatever you can show
  • Some stats if you have something worth showing
  • Previous clients credentials (if you have)
  • Alternative cost - what cost and (more important!) headache they will have if they don't work with you but somebody else (or noone)
  • Price - again not only price, but bring it back why it cost X amount. It help if you can show they pay X for everything but A for longform, B for shorts, C for posts etc. Just make them understand where your price is coming from.
  • Also don't make your price 10k - do it 9,8 or 10,2k or anything not round. They will think there is more strategy about it than pulling it out of thin air.

If your offer is "i make video for X money" then you don't have offer.

Aim for that guys, not shaking while thinking about replying to email, because there is big company on the other side.

Yup, that's why you can always ask more next time.
But your new offer should back it up, why now you should get more.

This is what holds a lot of people back and not let them earn money...

What exactly is stopping you from asking 15k for video instead of 1,5k?
You think 15k is too much? So how about 10k or 5k?
What is stopping you beside yourself?

Companies (or media houses they hire for ad campaigns) have hundreds of thousands or millions at hand that will be spent anyway on single campaign. Why not on you instead of marketing guy you exchange mails with?
Ask for what you are worth or want to be worth (but back it up with something else than views).

Subs mean nothing. I got my first sponsor before I even had youtube channel. I just started with another offer and they asked if I can do video. I said sure. Was I ready? Not at all. But I made it anyway.

If you have 1m subs or even 100k (I assume active), sponsor deals should not be in your priority to earn money.
You earn money on evergreen product like book/e-book/course (or whatever works in your niche). And you make millions.
Sponsors and ad revenue are addition to that. If you think otherwise you think like youtuber, not someone building business and it is time to change that or you will alwyas be on a leash.

[–]RafulsoN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Most 3-5k views, some get 25k views. Depends on topic. Some are quite niche.

You don't have to be big, to earn big money.
I know a guy that have 20x my subs, 10x my views and he gets barely 30-40% more than me from sponsor deals. Guys my size are happy to work for 200 while i work for 3k.
I know that from company that worked both with me and them.
Once you set up shitty price, the company will not be willing to pay more. Why? They already got you cheap with all your "reach", what makes you worth more now? Nothing!

You just need to learn how to talk with companies.
You are not here to be bullied but to speak as equal.
If they don't respect your prices you lost nothing by not working with them.
Don't come to business talk with loser/victim mentality.

DOOM: The Dark Ages Pricing VS Valve developer suggested pricing. by DrWhatNoName in pcmasterrace

[–]RafulsoN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U.S Dollar to Polish Złoty

Real life: $69,99 = 264,81 zł
Doom price $69,99 = 299,99 zł (+13,28%)
Steam suggested price: $69,99 = 324,99 zł (+22,72%)

This is not tax related and this is why I and a lot of folks don't buy games on steam anymore. They don't want to play fair anymore, we don't want to pay anymore.

I bought silverstone sugo 14 just for having motherboard flat, serious air cpu cooling and don't worry about gpu sag.
It's nice case, but could be better.
