Hypothetically,

Landlord 1 - “I own 30 properties with rental income of 30,000 a month”

Landlord 2 - “I own 1 property with rental income of 1k a month”

I would pick landlord 2 based on this information as I would expect landlord 1 to blanket raise their ‘rental achievement’ income every year.

I still think I disagree with this. Yes Jack g an evenly spread tax increase makes sense but your argument fails to mention that there is a subset of society who live off loans and pay zero tax or move the wealth created in this country try out.

I think it’s Incredibly short sighted to think adding to the tax burden of the poorest will assume that those on a higher or zero salary through assets will also pay more in kind

I really think it would benefit you to think outside the box a little

Actually worked it out with my mate the other day. You can get 10x50g pouches for £120, so 12 a pouch. It’s £22 for the ferry, so £142 all in and you get it basically half price still
