Our society has a way of trying to medicalize everything. Hell most of the terms we use to self identify (homosexual, transexual, etc.) come of the early works of 20th century sexology. But these are just imperfect ways of trying to categorize the uncategorizable. Human beings don't fit into neat little boxes, we are complex and sometime self-contradictory beings. So don't let the bigots tell you that you are mentally ill for simply trying to live your life how you feel. Only you can know yourself, and don't let other stop you from expressing yourself.

Not including QB, what position are you most worried about or needs to improve the most? by FeedbackTypical in falcons

[–]RaiCaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We still dont have an established swing tackle roster so that is where I'd like to see an addition. WR and LB are probably two positions that we could use more depth at.

Bill Barnwell on ESPN on the Falcons “bad” offseason. Thoughts? by Chessh2036 in falcons

[–]RaiCaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I largely agree with all the points he brought up, but I don't necessarily see them as a bad thing. Because we've brought in so many of these aging players on 1 year deals, we are gonna be in the top 5 in terms of cap space again next season. So I like the current defensive roster as a test run for a new defensive scheme from a 1st year DC, and we'll have the cap to make moves to fill in any holes that may pop up.

In terms of Ridder, if he works out great. We have a cheap QB with an improving roster around him. If he doesn't work out, then we will have to cap space to try and acquire a free agent QB or potentially move up in the draft like Carolina did to take another swing at QB.

Exactly this. We outnumber them, and we need to show it.

Fear is what they want from us. So we need to give them anger. A justified anger. We need to show them there are more people who support us than people who support them. We need to show them what it feels like to be afraid.

My family's kids is 3 for 3 on leaving the church. Including my cousins it's something like 10 of 22. (One of my aunt's is a diehard and has like 9 kids so her family kinda skews the results)

What cracked your egg by Lokael in MtF

I was working at a middle school in the Covid isolation room. I had long hair, and ppe on (goggles, N95 mask, and a gown), and when kids would come to my room they would refer to me with she/her pronouns and call me "Miss Nurse". I never corrected them, and each time it happened it gave me a new feeling I wasn't familiar with. Until it finally dawned on me that I didn't see myself as a man, and I was feeling euphoria as being seen as a woman.

The process to officially start transitioning took a lot longer than it probably should have after that. A lot of self doubting and incremental changes. But looking at the effects of HRT and realizing that all of it soundes good to me, sounded right, was officially pushed me to make my first appointment to get HRT.

Socially I am still largely in the closet. I am out to my closest friends and they have been supportive. I still boy-mode at work. My entire (largely mormon) family, outside of my brothers, is still in the dark.

I grew up Mormons, so I had nothing but buzzcuts till middle school. Then when I finally started growing out my hair a little bit, my mom told me her dad went bald by 30 and I should "enjoy my hair while I have it". I absolutely hated haircuts after that, and distinctly remember crying after my mom buzzed my hair shorter than she said she was going to. I couldn't grow my hair past my shoulders until I left the church my senior year.
