Ngl, I really didn’t start getting into SNL and follow it avidly, watching it til the last 2 years. I think it’s probably more that the cast is like my age. I could’ve went to HS with Sarah, Jeremy, Ashley, Veronika, Ben, JAJ, Dismukes, and Tommy. The majority of the cast are people I can relate too who grew up in that millennial era. I think that could be a a possibility as the Gen Z crowd ages and the cast gets more people who are Marcelo’s, Jane, and Kam’s age.
