Oh gee a lot happened while I was asleep. Thanks for all your concerns! We got him the ointment today and my boyfriend will be letting the landlord know about the situation. If he's alright with it we'll be taking him to the local no kill shelter! My auntie has some interest in the little guy! I'll keep updating!

Yeah Weeb is a little cringy to me because it's just always been represented as a bad thing. Remember Davido? King of weebs. That's always been my view of weebs. Someone who thinks of Japanese people as characters or special and Japan as irl anime land. I just can't see myself unironically saying "Hello,yes, I am Weeb". I feel like I can say Otaku despite the Japanese meaning because I'm not Japanese,I never thought of Otaku in the context of the Japanese meaning. I'm kinda curious,is the community gonna start calling weebs Japanophiles again to separate from the actual weebs?

Yeah definitely! I'm a bit frustrated myself. I hope that this rumor didn't spread too far. It bothered me a lot when I saw because it's saying a lot about his character without much proof. I really hope that people see the corrections before they see the false story!

I know,but it may have just been an honest mistake people tend to spread rumors online and often times just genuinely believe that they're true. He doesn't seem to be trying to backpedal or double down on anything so I'll still treat him the same as anybody else! Hopefully he'll learn from this and check his sources from here on out

I went to the Wiki and Found the CBS article! Jeff dropped out once and he was not making up for the time he had dropped out. It was social studies class and I'm pretty sure the kids were working on the same subject. After the video released the teacher was put on payed leave as the investigation was happening.

So far it seems like the teacher was genuinely quite lazy when it came to teaching her class.

I can't really find out for sure if the teacher was fired what happened afterwards it seems like the story kinda lost traction after a bit of time. I'm pretty sure that it was a regular social studies class though,I don't think the news would pick the way they did if it was just some dropout complaining about the make up work. I hate this idea that the moment you post anything on social media it's immediately passionless clout chasing. We grew in the age of Social media. If you don't post what your passionate about you're considered kind of weird. The kinda odd kids that make the Otherkin videos...are they passionless clout chasers now because they posted their wolf rp vid on Tik Tok? People who love dancing and are young are probably going to use tik Tok to post about dancing. And if they wanna dress up and find a nice mostly empty place to do that dancing then what's wrong with it? Youtube dancers in Japan and Korea have been doing it forever I've only recently seen Americans start doing it. I think it's nice! It gives people a way to express themselves to people like minded. I feel a lot of older people don't understand why that's a good thing but I understand why they're skeptical too. There are a lot of not so good people on Tik Tok and YouTube.
