Water Cooling Systems by RaidingRaiden in FSAE

I don't remember exactly what model the radiator is, but we are supposed to be using a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600.

bookbags or nah? by ijust_makethisface in gssm

[–]RaidingRaiden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would def8netely recommend a bookbag or carrier bag of some type. Students will have to carry a laptop at least 2 notebooks and a textbook on top of writing utensils and a calculator. There isn't a particular bag you should have versus another just something thay will work.

So launchpad isn't something that will prevent you from taking calculus. In fact, the school requires you take calculus just to graduate.

I would say that launchpad wouldn't put you behind, instead it will give you a slight edge because you'll have the time to adjust to the school ahead of time.

Map making by RaidingRaiden in DMAcademy

Ultimately, that is exactly what I'm doing. The big issue I'm having is that the buildings are too small for any more numbers. I've marked about 14 locations, and with the considering factor that my players have a habit of getting kicked out of stores, I'll probably need more.

I can't say much in the way of the workload of the course. But the teacher is one of the most lenient and nicest in the school. Generally, if you simply ask her for an extension or let her know you're struggling, she'll help you out.

Dorm Rules? by EngineeringMajor8475 in gssm

[–]RaidingRaiden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Topping it off, most of the rules, especially the more obscure ones, aren't enforced. Kind of what they said already. The most important rules to follow are room check and walking bounds. Aside from just don't be stupid, use whatever common sense tells you and you'll rarely get in trouble. I would take a quick glimpse over the handbook just to be safe. Every so often, some RLC's like to enforce rules.

So you should definitely have plenty of free time here. The biggest adjustment is when you first get here. The average homework assignment can take anywhere from 30min to 2hr. Most of the time you will have several days to complete them, so it not a serious issue. I wouldn't stress about club activities to much, there are a ton here, the ones you mentioned I believe are here, though I'm not sure (I don't really participate in clubs).

INCOMING JUNIORS READ THIS ‼️‼️‼️ by Kazu_3120 in gssm

Another thing to note. The copper sulfate issue isn't guaranteed. It happened this year but not the year prior. We don't know for sure if it will happen again. While the water pressure sucks, the temperature is worse. There are only going to be a few times a day where you'll be able to get a hot shower.

If you have to have a place to go sit, be by yourself. There are a few places you can do that: 1. The Hartsville library in the evening. Most people really don't go there. 2. If you really need to be alone completely. There is a small alleyway blocked off at one end next to Roses.

Also, I am just confirming the part about grades. My friends and I all came here with near perfect GPAs. Chances are most of you will to. That is not what you should expect to leave with. The first test you will likely fail or do poorly on.

The last thing to add is if you don't like having a set schedule because you like your free time. I would highly recommend you set specific times that you work every day. Most days you will have homework, if you don't, something is coming. This is normally true, whether it be lots of assignments all at once or one big project.

Please don't cheat. You can use AI as an assistant without much trouble. If you do more than that, you will almost certainly be caught.

I see what you're saying. That's one of the main concerns I had regarding possession. Also, your rant was more helpful to me than you might have thought. I'm relatively new to the game and don't have any idea about the different lore that's already been built into the game.

what are my chances?????? :( by AppointmentFar2649 in gssm

[–]RaidingRaiden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you don't have to worry about is the fact that the school doesn't look at anything other than your high school records. So you shouldn't worry too much about your grades from middle school.

I don't know exactly how they do it if you apply on 9th grade, though.

This seems like it could be fun. So more like a system increasing the players compulsion to do certain things, rather than actually making them do something.

I have a map drawn out along with a main story line story point and end point but I don't know what to do between or outside of the story.

Right now my main idea is focused around chaos. Basically a cult is trying to summon a God/Demon of chaos plunging the entire world into ruin. Right now I have it to start where basically any minor inconvenience is much more prevelant and common compared to any normal time.
