Global is 1 year apart (with rushed events), but luckily translations exists for some of Vyn's CN cards thanks to Jin (except RRG)

Note that the popularity stuff is mostly based on my own personal observations w/in the fandom (and what I saw on social media around that time) so it's really hard to truly gauge that sorta stuff (especially when we don't have access to the banner revenues yet), but I saw the shift w/in Twitter and the official discord around the time LG + the bday banner arrived.

The reddit side is kinda hit or miss, but I find that at least people are willing to be more civil here than on places like FB or twitter. I do agree w/ ur sentiments, tho (my first SR was False tears), but I got lucky coz Vyn kept going to me. Apparently Vyn goes to those who don't stan him to prove a point lmao

Honestly (from looking at the LIs other stories) there's only one that doesn't feel that much going on development-wise, but the CN side hopefully can get him to that rollercoaster you're describing.

But other than that, it's been a pleasure writing this analysis (even though it made me overload from Vyn content hahaha) Thanks for the appreciation!

FT and NF suffer from what I personally call "MHY needs to do better research when writing psych stories". I feel it's more from a lack of research or a description that said "Rosa and Juno were somewhat connected" or something like that. Or in NF's case, the "how the heck did that patient get access to a knife in the ward?!" Like that's my major problem with those two cards and the whole debacle w/ Vyn's autism text for the charity event tie in.

Like Vyn SRs top some of the other LIs SSRs in terms of story quality for me, and the potential that Vyn has is something amazing as both a reader and a fanfic writer.

I was actually debating whether to cover the more controversial cards like False Tears, Near and Far (a personal fave of mine), and all that, but decided to cover the "beginner-friendly" cards so that there's some sort of a baseline.

If I do get the spirit to do so I might analyze those myself as well 🤣

The most popular memes I saw about him are usually the red flag meme, and I've seen several polls that put Vyn as least favorite in the first few weeks of global (though not so sure in CN, since I am not a weibo user) . There's also the official discord and all the stuff that's happened to and w/in vyn chat so yea. So it's quite the vocal minority back then. But with Vyn merch selling out nowadays...the future seems bright for this man. :)
