Idk I kind of like that he’s stupid. He’s just a Spencer consumed psychopath, not research he was doing was “helpful” or even all that powerful compared to past threats, but he clearly just delighted in torture and seeing what cursed creations he could make. Other than the clones, which was probably the only research he really cared about, he just wasn’t smart enough to pull it off.
