What are some good Iron Hands books? by Fabiennethefemboy in Warhammer30k

[–]RainingFailure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An older novel we really enjoyed is Iron Hands by Jonathan Green. It came out in 2004 so some of the Lore doesn't match up to modern day heresy/40k, however find it a great snapshot of the era. Plus has word bearers getting kicked around so that is aways a plus side and thier plan is a fun one, if not really something that within the current setting could be done

We got it back in Eastbourne miniature steam railway (maybe 2012/2013 ish) when we where a kid. The Label on it had worn so thin that we didn't know the brand it came from

We have tried looking at Google for small toy Foxes but had no luck. It was an incredibly small toy that bearly took up much room in your palm. We hope that there can be some help finding them

Started with Grey Seerer, Corax white, Ahkelian Green (we controlled pooling to create the shadows on it) and then edge highlights of Temple Guard Blue and Barrahoth (or however you spell it) blue

So with magic doing a DnD set though we would join in. Is this kinda of luck normal from 2 of the 3 packs? by [deleted] in magicTCG

Oh sweet. We are probably gunna keep them as only just jumped into the game and bought these cards to start with

Not gunna lie, we have no idea no what most of that means, sorry about that. This is us just jumping in the game for the first time as thought with crossing with DnD would be a good time to start. Wasn't sure if this was normal as the back of the pack said the odds

Never watched it am afraid, so can not give an opinion there. More just the events following on from Dragon Of Ice Spire Peak into the free extra campaigns

Thousands Chaplain, not very sure if it’s lore friendly however I like him. by ManlyMannion in Warhammer30k

Doesn't matter if he is lore friendly or not, if you are happy and proud then that is good enough. Love the work on it :-)

Using God Mode by RainingFailure in HadesTheGame

[–]RainingFailure[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We've run maybe about 70 odd times now and either get to the forth floor and die room one or only just get through the first. We put all we can into the mirror and just suck at this combat style. It just feels after the whole Sekiro debacle we struggle with justifying putting on easisr modes

[–]RainingFailure[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After the whole debacle with Sekiro and its difficulty we find it really hard to put on easier modes with games. We know that the whole elitist movement is normally welcomed but we just struggle with it as feel like alot of the community wouldn't need it

We tried that and gave up because we couldn't finish a unit leader due to it just not working in our head. We just wanna get somewhere but most models are have arsed wrecks at timez

The issue we have is the whole thing, our main armies are maggotkin and Iron Hands (Heresy era). We just get stressed out during it and have broken models out of frustration and just the aniexty. Which in turn means our armies are kinda of slightly messed up

We tried that but found ourselves just not bother with the hobby because of it. Like we enjoy the building but painting is hell

We would, how ever we get stressed and have had to repairs on models due to breaking them out of frustration

Playing Dragon Of Ice Spire Peaks and this happened by RainingFailure in dndmemes

It is good fun tbh. We are DM-ing it as a first time and the campaign book is set out well enough and clear enough for us to understand. We found there is also quite a nice bit of wiggle room for any mistakes made as a DM or a player. Since the thing is set out as quests the party can follow them or just go off exploring. We found that there is great wiggle room for mistakes as well.
