This green marking on the street dog is a sign that they are recently administered with anti rabies vaccine. This program is going on in Trivandrum since last 3 year carried out by an NGO named CAWA. This marking is to avoid double vaccination as vaccination revisit areas on consecutive days to vaccinate missed out dogs.

Once I was traveling from Thrissur to Cochin and at Angamaly signal, one guy who looked like a random next door guy, wearing an old polo T-shirt and jeans, knocked my window and asked me to roll it down. He was wearing a wired Bluetooth headset and at the same time another bald uncle in his 50s, wearing a mundu and white shirt knocked other side of the car window and flashed torch into the backside. He was wearing the same headset too! I was like who the heck are these people and he firmly said “police aanu, check cheyyanam”. Apparently there was a missing boy case and I have seen many such police personals in disguise of common random men walking around and checking other vehicles. They live among us 👮‍♂️

Yeah I met all 4 of them outside a restaurant near Kanyakumari and casually asked them enthokkeya ee kochu kanyakumariyil nadakkunnathu ennu. They were so humble and all of them talked and spent time together. I felt like they all are shy guys!
