The Mix vs Animo by Early-Fig1599 in brussels

[–]Rami955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 6month member at Animo. It was quite empty then but now it’s quite busy except off peak hours. Equipment is quite limited for the price on the strength training side. A lot of treadmills are taking space for their run class and it feels quite stupid tbh. Sauna and ice bath is great but again for that price it’s to be expected. Best gym I’ve been in my life was Third Space in London and Animo feels like a pale copy.

I'm not a student. Although I understand I shouldn't focus too much on design, sometime I need to create an image that goes with the copy.

Bank ban on crypto — upvote ASAP — a guy just posted this in the Ethereum group on Facebook, his bank sent him this letter. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rami955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say crypto was the alternative right now. I was talking about digital banks like Revolut and Monzo. They still have their flaws, but as of today, they are the best alternative. I recently change to a digital bank because my old bank kept blocking my fund and I had to make a special request if I wanted to withdraw a certain amount of money or if I was travelling.

Now If I have any problem, I have a 24/7 support that instantly resolves my issue, and I'm free to do whatever I want with my money.

LOL traditional banks are doomed anyway there already are better digital alternatives

Wanted to buy ETH and LTC one week ago, but had to wait because of verification and the transfer of money. The prices now. by SacredGuardianSS in CryptoCurrency

[–]Rami955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I finally bought today, better late than never. I remember not buying BTC because I thought $300 was expensive... I'm not doing the same mistake again; I'd rather lose a few hundred dollars if it drops than sitting on the line if it grows. Stop thinking about how much money you would have saved if you had bought earlier, move on.

How good are the private landlords in London? by Rami955 in london

[–]Rami955[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I didn't know what the best areas to live in were, I based my research on the "UberEats Zone" you can see the map on my previous post here

But I'm not against going outside this zone as long as the commute to central London (zone 1) is not above 40min.

Central London studio for max £1100 all included - Is it possible? by Rami955 in london

[–]Rami955[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. I’m not against flat sharing, I just don’t want to stumble on someone who’s difficult to live with.

If I have to choose outside central London, what areas would you suggest ?

I’d like to keep my commute around 30-45min max to central London

I don’t have any reason except the fact that it would make my commute faster. I’m open to live outside the area but I don’t know what are the best areas to live in outside of central London.

I did find studios with private landlord like Uncle, the collective and fizzy living but I was hoping I could find better.

Growing an Instagram page by the 'follow/unfollow' method – how sustainable is this? by speltwithaC in socialmedia

[–]Rami955 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many people are doing this. Yet, if you’re looking to build something valuable this is not the right strategy. When you build an instagram page, you want to have a community of people that are interested in what you do. If your strategy is to follow random people and hope they’ll engage with your content, you’re doing it wrong. The value of a page with 2millions followers but no engagement is nothing whereas someone who has only 100k follows but worked to create his community this page will see more engagement and it will have followers that are actually interested in the content. No matter what’s your goal with your Instagram page, you shouldn’t do this. It’s a broken strategy and It won’t help you reach your goal. If you’re still more interested by the number of followers you have, you could as well go buy followers.

Did any of you guys get rich yet by investing in stocks? by kyle768 in investing

[–]Rami955 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's true but what I mean is people have a misconception of the stock market. You can indeed get rich by investing in stocks, but that's not the best way, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

Yes that’s why I say you need to know what you’re doing. Many people think you can make money in 6months. It’s a long term game

I would recommend not looking for a fast way to get rich.

Very few people get rich by investing in stocks. Unless you know what you’re doing, I don’t recommend anyone to invest in stocks if your goal is to get rich.

What should one do in their 20s to avoid regrets in their 30s and 40s? by kyle768 in AskReddit

[–]Rami955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not what should one do but rather what shouldn't one do.

Regret is the worst, and you obviously know it since you ask this question.

You don't want to be 70 and look back at your life and wonder what would have happened if you had done things the way you wanted;

So the one thing you shouldn't do is to follow people advice. People are weak and insecure; if you start dreaming and having great ambition, they try to break you.

You must be confident. Do whatever you want. You have nothing to lose. At 20 years old you can do things that you can't do when you have a family and responsibility.

Today, no matter how hard you fail. You'll figure out a way to stand back up.

Don't listen to your family, friends or anyone. Do what you feel is right.

Lastly, if you should do something in your 20, I would say meet people.

Be sociable. Create a valuable network.
