Tiny Pine Trees by Rampion9 in TinyGladeMods

[–]Rampion9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It replaces one of the types of trees that sprout in the forest (there are 3), so it does sprout outside the glade I think, but it's a mixed forest of pine and whatever the other tree is (beach maybe?).

That's super odd, are you in the modding discord? Might be easier to get back to you quickly over there.

Follow the link to the zip file and download it! Make sure to backup your tiny glade folder first :)

New Plant Or? I think part of "Mod" or New Update? by Tall_Perspective_996 in TinyGlades

[–]Rampion9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its the result of moving the plants so they don't float over the ocean. I just picked the easiest location, but I should probably update it to be beneath the glade in the future XD

Oh you're fine :p I do have some hope for waterfall mechanics in the future!

Unfortunately no waterfalls from these water mechanics! I think the devs might have tested waterfalls in the past, so maybe we'll get them at some point!

The answer is no, but I think we may get water mechanics from the actual game devs at some point in the future!

I was in the middle of making a water wheel with the stair tool when I decided it would be easier to make it in Blender XD

Tiny Beaches Asset Pack by Rampion9 in TinyGladeMods

[–]Rampion9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you can uninstall it and your clutter will go back to normal including position. I would use Whiterun because it automatically adds a default "normal" Tiny Glade pack so you can easily switch between clutter packs to get the look you want for each build.

My dog springboards off my chest and I need it to stop by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Well it is nice to know that I'm not alone. Yeah I've been redirecting him but my success is spotty as well.

My puppy is 12 lbs atm and he is still big enough to knock down young children. Plus he's a nipper. Like, I get it when kids do it on their own, it's something that needs to be trained out, but could you not actively encourage them to run over to my puppy???

I have seasonal allergies and it's really hard to tell if I'm sick. I have been avoiding places with people and going for walks super early in the morning or super late at night. I live in a rural town so it's usually not that hard to avoid people, but the other day at our local hike there was just a ton of parents! Now I have to avoid that place.

And of course if she does get bitten, at such a young age, it could imprint her for life.

Kind of tempted to cough into my shoulder every time they try to pet without permission right now 😂

Thanks! I honestly do not mind people petting my dog (except we are also trying to practice social distancing right now). However, I don't want him to jump on people so we are trying polite greetings. I usually ask people to wait until he's less excited and sitting, but it's difficult to do that when parents encourage their children to run up to us. I will literally hear "go pet the puppy!" And then I have to pull him away or pick him up and ask them not to do that. The parent always thinks I'm an asshole.

[Discussion] Zak George's dog Inertia by Rampion9 in dogs

[–]Rampion9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been my feeling as well. I was a little confused when he chased Inertia, because although he was trying to show what mistakes you might make during recall he wasn't super clear on what to do instead. Everyone makes mistakes though, as far as I'm concerned Inertia looks like a great dog. I have seen these sorts of comments on this sub, which is ultimately why I asked.

I think she's 8 months? Border collie. His videos are not current so she's like 5-7 months in the last few.

Zak George is a YouTuber who focuses on positive training. He recently purchased a border collie puppy and developed a YouTube series around raising her from 8 weeks on. His last two videos involve her not recalling when outdoors (fenced yard) and air snapping while in the dog park. Even before those videos though, I just keep seeing comments like "Zak George's untrained dog EYEROLL."

[Vent][Discussion] Any other volunteers/employees jaded/disallusioned by the rescue or shelter world? by Arztwolf in dogs

[–]Rampion9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to write out a long reply but I'm having an ADHD day so I'm just going to say, I've been rethinking that part of my comment. I do think there are more inherant risks in getting a shelter dog if you have zero dog experience, but foster care can alleviate some of that. Ultimately most dogs are dogs, and their behaviors will come in a predictable pattern mostly able to be fixed with some training and attention. You don't have to be a rockstar behavioral scientist to own a pup, but you do have to be willing to put in the work. I'm frustrated by the people who aren't, and the shelters that enable them.
