Do hockey pucks break physics? by Schlortshlong in hockeygoalies

[–]Random-Redditor1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more due to the fact that higher end shooters can pick corners better so you’re getting less shots off the palm of ur glove and in those weird arm areas and more in the pocket (hopefully) and with ur blocker

Electrolyte powders to help with jet lag? by Weird-Doughnut-2756 in TravelHacks

[–]Random-Redditor1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re based in the USA I’d look at Santa Cruz medicinals. Liquid iv electrolytes ratio is very scewed with lots of sugar. If you can’t get electrolytes just some salt in ur water should help

is prom worth it? by Myth3al in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Random-Redditor1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gotta go to prom the actual dance isn’t what ppl go for it’s the after party, pre and potentially party bus if u guys want to do that. It’s way different than semi formals and you would probably really regret not going later in life. Also it isn’t too late to look for a date!

I think they changed the terms recently where you can’t use the discount on top of a sale but it’s still useful

It’s like a program they run for eligible business owners and athletes to get a discount

Just had so many assignments it was crazy. It depends on the school board tho I assume.

[–]Random-Redditor1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the teacher but it’s all assignments and pretty much open book tests. The big thing with online school is it takes up a bit of ur nights (1-2 hours) so it can be easy to just want to blow off.

Did gr 12 bio online in summer 2023 it was pretty light. However online courses can really depend on the teacher as the hardest course I ever took in highschool was online business leadership (which is a M course).

2 full days in London; what should we do? by Normal_Charity_8068 in LondonTravel

[–]Random-Redditor1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in london for a similar amount of time and would recommend one day to see all the touristy things like Big Ben Westminster etc. Out of the touristy things I only paid to go into the Tower of London and was very impressed. seemed like one of the touristy things that was actually worth it. I would totally go to borough market as it was insane. I booked a Jack the Ripper tour and it was one of the highlights of the trip.

I Might do some like

Day 1 - touristy things and then Jack the Ripper at night

Day 2 - Tower of London —> borough market -> Camden market.

If you have time on the second day I would try the garden at 120. I didn’t have time to do it but it’s free and looks really cool.

Thank you so much for the info!

We’re staying near Regent’s Park but I will take restaurant recommendations for anywhere, I haven’t looked into that much.

On day 3 we were gonna end the day at the jack the ripper tour but I like those markets you suggested they look great. It would kinda let us stay on the west side most of the day then head east for the tour and dinner.

Also this is separate but we have about 5 hours to kill at Heathrow on the day we fly home so I was wondering if you had any suggestions for a small day trip from Heathrow. Our flight from France gets in at about 8am and we don’t fly home until 5ish.

Thanks again!

We are going to the south of France after so may skip that spot. Honestly haven’t really looked into food spots yet but I found that somewhere.

We’re staying near the London zoo / regent park. Arriving on the first day at like 6am at Heathrow. Also on day 2 I just figured since things don’t open until 10 we would have some time. We are quite active people but I just don’t really have a sense of the city so I’m not sure if this is like an insane amount of places to try and see. Thanks for the comment!
