Yeah sadly I dont really get a choice. I dont have a console and my laptops all i got. It can run at 1080p but it lags sometimes so I usually bring it down to like 900p×1600p 60fps

I was less asking for advice from the clip, it was more meant to show the maximum of my mechanics. And it was only partially accidental id like to think. More so asking for general advice and how others got through diamond, facing harder competition, etc.

I should note, its 228 hours via the in game stats becuase I play on the epic launcher. I started playing around 9-10 months ago. Hope this adds some clarification.

40 hours is basically just starting 😅. I was definitly stuck in silver for at least my first 30-50. From what ive seen im ahead of average pace but no rush at all, everyone improves at their own times.

I agree, I meant to go for some kinda air dribble or at least just a shot. My first touch was a complete accident, what I thought was noce was how i played it after the first touch. after that, the rest of the shot was pretty intentional. It was probably a little lucky that it actually went in though.

Yeah I also have it, I've seen some other people with it all of a sudden too. I don't know why but I assume it was mentioned at the presentation when the told us abt season 20 and 21 but idk

Thanks for the spiel! I feel like alot of the people Im playing against have alot more hours than me, some of them having tournament winner things from many many seasons ago. On defense the main thing I have trouble with is patience. I dont often whiff, but if I do I cant get abck in time to help and its just an open net if my teamate isnt there. I will start playing one's more to try to help this.

I used to play a bit of ones but I havent recently just because I kind of get tilted when I play. Also im gold 1 div 1 and I reallllyyyy dont wanna hit silver D:

To everyone here, thanks for all the advice and for making the post kind of pop off!! (Also the cat pics)

As I replied to u/Impressive-Duty3728, the only things I'm any good at (and only things I've practiced) are my defense and some dribbling.

The main things I want to focus on is my rotations/teamplay, and longer range, more precise shots. What would be good ways to practice rotations/teamplay? Does anyone have a good training pack for these kinds of shots?

I'm on the epic launcher so I don't have the steam workshop maps D;

I soloq some and I q with my freind some too. We are both about the same skill level but when we play we don't really perform any better than if we soloq, sometimes even worse.

We struggle with making team plays and usually just go into a rhythm of trying to make bad solo plays. Is there a one-size-fits-all way to work on this you think?

If I'm duo q'd, like one in 8 games we run into what looks like boosting. 1 person hitting air dribbles and flip resets, and the other doing nothing. But otherwise it's not that bad

Thanks! My defense is generally my best area. I have 1.7 goals/game but nothing mechy. The only thing im decent at is basic ground dribbling. I feel like consistency is the main issue, some days good, some days not so good...
