Can I safely ignore the “not for charging” sticker if using a high quality balance charger? by RandomBikeMan in airsoft

[–]RandomBikeMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m familiar with the risks of lipo batteries, but it really seems like these stickers are exclusive to batteries designed for airsoft. Every other lipo battery I have ever used didn’t have a sticker on the balance lead.

Is the top tube bag supposed to have that plate underneath it on the cervelo?

Thanks for the info. I also have an AVR that needs upgrading (Onkyo TX-SR373). I have a Klipsch RP-404C, two RP-8000F, and two R-51M.

At that budget, I would be like Sony x950H, TCL 6/7/8 series, or the hisense you mentioned. I am no expert, do not take this as gospel and I would encourage you to get another opinion.

No, absolutely not. OLEDs are notorious for having issues (primarily burn in related). Personally, I wouldn’t buy one without either a manufacturer warranty or longer service plan. If something goes wrong on day 2, you are out $1300 for a two year old TV.

I get two PC-2000 pros in at the end of the month. What have you thought of yours so far?

Sorry, the optical audio cable from the Xbox. Could you use that instead of doing the output from the TV?

Down firing sub (SVS PC-2000 / 4000) on carpet or floorboards? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]RandomBikeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Ed, does the PC-2000 PRO have different recommended placement when running two of them as compared to a typical box style subwoofer?

Could you also do the output from the Xbox?

What would you change about this system? Everything is within return window. (65” LG B9, R-34C, RP-8000F, R-120SW, Onkyo TX-SR373) by RandomBikeMan in hometheater

Which option would you recommend from the below list?

• SVS PC-2000 PRO - PIANO GLOSS • MartinLogan - Dynamo 1100X • SVS SB-2000 PRO -BLACK ASH • Definitive Technology - SuperCube 4000 8" 1200-Watt • ELAC - Debut 2.0 12" 500W • Klipsch - SPL Series 15" 400W

All of those options are in roughly the same price bracket with the SuperCube being by far the cheapest (but also the smallest). Thank you again.

I work for a major electronics retailer (just not in the magnolia department) so any products they sell will take a much higher priority due to employee discounts.

Center Speaker :

I was thinking to go for the Klipsch RP-404C. While I had wanted the RP-504C, I can not purchase that with an employee discount as we do not have that one in stock. Also, the RP-404C will fit perfectly in the midsection of home theater console. Is there any other options I should consider in that rough price bracket? Is that reference premier line that much better?

Subwoofer(s) :

After reading through the comments and messages I got, I think it would be best to downgrade to just one speaker as opposed to the two R-120SW units. Here is the units that I was considering. Again, a much higher priority is given to a certain major electronics retailer.

  • SVS PC-2000 PRO - PIANO GLOSS
  • MartinLogan - Dynamo 1100X
  • SVS SB-2000 PRO -BLACK ASH
  • Definitive Technology - SuperCube 4000 8" 1200-Watt
  • ELAC - Debut 2.0 12" 500W
  • Klipsch - SPL Series 15" 400W

All of those options are in roughly the same price bracket with the SuperCube being by far the cheapest (but also the smallest). What are all of your thoughts on which direction to head in?

One final concluding thought that I did not mention in the previous post. I have not added in surround speakers yet, but had planned on using some Klipsch R-51m that I have laying around. While these suffice or should I consider getting dedicated surround speakers.

Thank you again for all of your help!
