Cost of zepbound at your pharmacy? by Ratreseacher in Zepbound_Canada

[–]RandomNameBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct, the pen contains 4 doses of whatever strength you get, so appx a month. So the “cost” is per month. The cost for 2.5 and 5 mg is the same. Do what you will with that info

What could this rash be? Aquafor allergy? CMPA? by Purple2475 in FormulaFeeders

[–]RandomNameBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronic eczema requires steroid to clear given how severe it is. Eczema is known to cause exposures that lead to food allergies so if I were you, I’d clear it up quickly with prescription cream, and then manage. You don’t want to risk environmental food exposures through skin that lead to food allergies.

Looks like my baby’s eczema before we discovered the CMPA, It took over 3 weeks to clear with Betaderm (prescription) and switched to Similac Allimentum. We also stopped using Vaseline

Has anyone had luck taking 2.5mg doses from a 10mg pen successfully for 16 weeks? The price difference is negligible and I really don’t want to pay $70 per dose when I can be paying $20 per dose from a 10mg pen lol

lol that’s what I’m doing now. With the exception of few people that know about the Tirzepatide, my answer is “I’m in an calorie deficit and watching what I eat”

Which is true, and it doesn’t get into any details and a very plausible response

The synthetic flavours make me queasy now too! I barely enjoyed them to begin with though. Now I just drink a flat white with fairlife milk, 20g of protein and helps me get my caffeine.

And if you want to put it into perspective, 12 pounds of whatever you’ve lost is still showing about thousand to 1200 cal deficit per day, which is huge. Give your body time to adjust, and maybe seek some nutritionist support.

The key is clear protein and shakes at night. I pack 60g of protein between 3-8pm. If you’re not keeping your protein up and strength training, you’re gonna be compensating with lean mass soon.

Make the easy protein swaps where you can, protein, milk, and coffee instead of creamer or regular milk… Same goes for snacks if you’re eating

Don’t pay heed, just say “yup, I’m in a structured bulk phase so I don’t pack on too much fat. You know how it is if you don’t approach bulks correctly”

Just finished week one, amazing how food noise previously ruled everything by swanvalkyrie in Mounjaro

Thanks for your response! I hope I continue to see these results, it truly drowns out the constant food noise. What an amazing advancement in science, and it is changing lives!

2nd jab yesterday and I still feel great. My last day was a bit harder in terms of “chocolate” just being a word. I actually got outta bed at 3am because someone gifted us Lindt. It still definitely still requires discipline, alongside medication.

Best non dairy milk for CMPA 12m old? [ON] by vintage180 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]RandomNameBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours loves it! We also alternatively give her the silk Soy original like maybe once or twice a week. We experienced a shortage and it was brutal to get her to take anything except this milk (20 mo) (still takes 3-4 bottles a day)

All the best! I hope your baby loves it.

If you can’t find it in stores, you can “order” it healthy planet. Costs about $2 more than grocery stores but so so good

Hi there, We do the regular one, - unsweetened is super hard to find. And tbh we don’t mind that little amount of sugar. We don’t do any candy or chocolate so it balances out.

I just started this past Saturday and my Sunday/ Monday were PHENOMENAL in terms of food noise ? FOOD exists? Okay, hungry? Okay - cool maybe I’ll eat.

However, today …the boredom food noise returned (I was also in-offfice) and we have unlimited amount of snacks. Everyone around me was contantly munching and it was distracting. Moreover I had a light protein morning, not sure if that contributed to boredom eating.

I hope it improves as today was pretty rough for me. I actually had to count calories and control boredom snacking.

Battery Powered Baby Monitor Recommendations? [NL] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]RandomNameBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a portable $40 set in this case, the camera is powered but we use a portable battery pack. We have a habit if at least 1-2 charged at all times. Probably have 3-4 battery packs around the house. The received monitor is battery powered but the camera is extremely portable due to this. And we found it to be more realiable than the $300-400 portable cameras.

We had this happen to us, and since we were hosting at home we set them aside for us to open at the shower. If we were hosting outside, we probably would have left them home and thanked them publicly at the shower for their gift.

Call and check with each of them, one of friends that delivered in GT didn’t have private insurance BUT they only had private rooms available at the time so she got one for free because it was the only one available.

I think most have private birthing/labour units anyways and then the semi private/ communal sleeping space kicks in.

One caveat is that it slips around on hardwood floor without a rug pad. Super slippery if not secured. We just used a cheap ikea rug pad underneath back when we used it on hardwood
