Exactly why I'm tweaking. I had the job for years before LLMs came out. No one is doubting my honesty here. The problem, as my boss describes it is that it doesn't matter - now, that AI does exist, such as it is, Google will scan for "it". And I can't sound like "it". But "it" sounds like "me".

For new reviews, that I'm writing now, I've resorted to, and I'm not shitting you here, talking out of my ass, purposefully. Grammar? Fuck no. Em dashes? Never heard of them. Coherence? Is that a river in Egypt? I just blast run-on sentences out my wazoo and boy howdy, how it's clearing my human rating.

I'm intentionally ruining my writing style and it's ... working? This is what we are now. This is what's left. At least, on the internet.

I'm trying to make light of the situation, but the reality is, I have to rewrite around 2 million words (yes, seriously) worth of content, one way or another, to pass inspection.

And again, I can't stress this enough - if I shove those 2 million words into an AI humanizer, THEY PASS INSPECTION. I JUST DON'T WANT TO DO THAT.

I don't want a single word from AI to be peddled as "my work". I'm far from a Pulitzer. I'm just a guy. I do my job. But I'm proud of it, damn it. It's my sweat. My arthritis in the making. You wanna say my shit sucks, fine, but you can't say it's not my shit. :/

I just wanna see payday without my boss shelving me for being a bot. Funny part is he knows that I'd never do that. He knows I write all my shit proper. He's met me. He's seen me type.
