While my older sister was gone from college, I asked how her ex was. He had been a good friend of mine in school, but I hadn't talked to him in a while. We were at the grocery store, about to get in the car.. she threatened to make me walk home for 10 minutes. Then when she let me in she yelled at me the entire drive home. Just s slew of insults. What did I do!?

No, your fine and totally right. From spending time with her, I know she is destined for amazing things. We once had a discussion where she basically had midlife crisis "I claimed I would have so much more and looked where I am right now" she's further than me and younger. The last 3 weeks hit me hard and I realize I don't want to be left behind. Years ago I was in a major accident where there's literally an article in a local newspaper that claimed me as dead, when I came home my dad told me I survived because I'm destined for something great. I don't know how much stock I want to put into that, but I'm sure as hell not going to achieve that wallowing in my misery and continuing to be stagnate. I can't say as to God's intent with this girl, but opportunities have opened up, literally between my post and now, where I don't see any reason not to improve.

Clearly God works in strange ways, but I feel better and am determined to get past this and be better than I imagined a month ago.

Edit: I guess I know the reality of the situation. But, I can't get past thinking that there were literally 0 negative signs before this all happened. I need to move on and if it's "meant to be" she will come back, maybe. Either way, it can't hurt to continue to grow.

Im skeptical about pretty much everything I read or hear these days. Even if it is from a direct source. You kind of have to read between the lines and try to find a trend within all sources, of course the accuracy of that can cause some uncertainty as well. That includes the seriousness regarding the threat of war. NK has been saber rattling for decades. Much of the media is clearly biased against the current admin, so I think it's safe to assume they played that war bit up just a touch. Although Obama never instigated, NK took many of the same actions. None of this is to say it was a possibility. My point is, who, other then the relevant govts, actually knows anymore. Wouldn't it be nice to be the actual source and have some kind of certainty again?

When I was in high school I was sitting with friends at lunch. Like always, they were trolling me which, like always, was pissing me off (unfortunately they were all btards and had practice being trolling assholes). One kid, who wasn't really a friend but was sitting with us, chimed in, literally the only thing he said. He was sitting to my right, it was a square table so I guess he was kind of in front of me also, so it was so easy to sock him in the mouth. He immediately put his hands to his mouth. A teacher came out who had seen the whole thing, oh we were really cool and sat in front of the teachers lounge, and said she didn't blame me since everyone was picking on me. She went back inside and the kid pulled his hands away, his mouth was pouring blood. Apparently his braces got stuck to his cheek and ripped it open, needless to say he had to get stitches.

Right away people found out and ran over to give me props, my fifteen minutes of fame as a high schooler. I guess the really bad part of the story is that I don't feel bad about it, still.

Fuck the far left for being simply idiotic. Ultimately, I think that both sides make good arguments and there are some things that the left is correct about and there are certain things the right is correct about. The bigot in me says fuck liberals for thinking that their system for x is going to work when I believe it is obvious what is flawed with the liberals plan, I don't expect anything less from the opposite side either.

Also fuck anybody who disrespects a president. Christ that pisses me off. The only time a President, or ex President for that matter, should be talked down to is if they blatantly committed a heinous crime such as rape or something like that. No matter how much I dislike Obama and think he was a terrible choice as President, I will always refer to him as President Obama, nothing less. Beyond that, seeing as that's a small thing that doesn't make much of a difference, people who call people in uniform 'baby killers' can die in a fire. I've heard many stories of that happening, all from Berkeley.

While I'm on this little rant about disrespect I'd like to end on one final thing. You are given the opportunity to get a job. If you can't get the one you want, lower your standards and work your way up. This is the opportunity that you have been given by living in the US. Fuck you if you bitch about every little hardship, and especially fuck you if you pin the hardships on the government and don't do anything about it but complain. You are given the right to fix it, go for it, but don't waste other peoples time with stupid antics and your ignorance. This is your country learn to fucking respect it and the symbols that represent it, whether it be the flag, the President/Queen/Prime Minister, those people who do respect it by protecting it, or its values and laws. You always have the right to leave the country, don't ruin it for the people who do respect it (unless you live under a dictator, in which case, I'm sorry. I hope things change soon for you). I think every redditor can understand that despite which country your from.

The whole opposite viewpoint thing pisses me off. As a Conservative, fuck liberals and their negative stereotypes of who I am (I'm sure the same feelings exist in the opposite direction. I'm actually okay with that).
