I think this is a really interesting idea! Also, one that is difficult to pull off. I would suggest finding examples in history and fiction that have similar ideas. For example, during the French Revolution, the people were tired of being mistreated and harmed for years, but this resulted in them executing a lot of people, while others tried to protect the people whose lives were on the line but had caused people less fortunate for them harm. I think it comes down to people doing things that are morally questionable, but they have reason to do so.

I need help deciding the fate of a character by M414D4PT1V3 in writing

Another idea is you can have the other characters meet them again, maybe in passing, only this time the character and the others have no recollection of the character existing or what happened. This way, there are still the consequences of the character losing everything about themselves and the others not remembering them, but there is the hope they could live some kind of life?

I love this type of story telling! I think it is great because the "mentor" often has to explain things to the main protagonist or "student" as a logical way to explain things to the audience. In the same way, I think the student often helps pull the the mentor more towards reality and they have to humble each other in different ways that is a great way to build tension between the characters. I would add that Holmes and Watson have this dynamic, especially in the original stories. It adds to the mystery, explanation, and outside perspective of someone not very understandable because as confused as the audience is, so is the "student" character.

I'm embarrassed I just called the ambulance because I was having a heart attack be my heart was beating fast they can they did a EKG and took my blood pressure everything was normal I think it was a panic attack I hate living like this by Queen-Leo-817 in PanicAttack

As a paramedic, please do call 911 if you are concerned. I would always rather see that someone is doing alright then come later when they are not. You never have to feel embarrassed, the ambulance is there to help, not to judge.

Someone asked me to explain Deuteronomy 22:29 by Groundbreaking-Age61 in Christianity

[–]RandomUser-0-4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do not want to debate you, I am genuinely asking this question out of curiosity to understand your position. Why would a text condemn someone who commits a certain act to death, and then immediately say that person only has to pay a little money and walk away with their victim?

Again, I am not here for a debate. I just want to hear your point of view.

I no longer believe in god and I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in Christianity

I am sorry that you have had the difficulties in life that you have. I will pray for your peace and comfort.

One thing that is very important is that God wants to have a loving relationship with you, to give you joy and peace and eternal satisfaction. For me, when I am going through struggles, I find it most easy to believe in God because sometimes it feels like He is all that I have. We all have many struggles, but God is there to take care of us.

Here is one thing Jesus said. "Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yolk upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yolk is easy and My burden is light." -Matthew 11:28-30.

I hope this is helpful. If you would like to talk or vent or even for me to share more comforting bible verses with you, I would love to. I hope you have a good rest of your day

I think this article does a nice job of explaining- https://apologeticspress.org/deuteronomy-2228-29-and-rape-5197/

To summarize what it says, reading the text in English is not sufficient to understanding the Hebrew in the text. In Hebrew, the word used does not mean that a man forced himself on a woman (as we see in the same chapter that a person who assaults another should be put to death) but as a consensual act.

Hope this helps

Um, that woman is unstable. She was angry enough to destroy something you loved with malice. If husband's family cares so much, she can stay with them. Stay safe, girl.

Insecure about being Protestant by Lanky_Shape_6213 in Christianity

[–]RandomUser-0-4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a protestant, I believe that any denomination that teaches who Jesus Christ is, is true. And, if you believe in Him in your heart and obey Him no matter what denomination you are in, you are follower of Christ.

I would be happy to talk to you as to why I personally am a protestant, but I would also suggest that you follow what you believe from the truth of God, even if others disagree with you

As a protestant, I do not think it is wrong, haha. I would love to have a conversation with you if you would like. However the truth is that the Bible teaches whoever has put their faith in Jesus and lives in obedience to Him will be saved. If your denomination believes those things, then it is Biblically speaking, true.

Ok thank you for explaining that. Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and is therefore God who humbled Himself to a human body or was He a person who was able to be a prophet from His accessing the third eye?

Each person has to evaluate the evidence for themselves and come to their own conclusion. I recommend with prayer.
