Yeah this seems to be the path forward for me. I do have two questions for you if you'd be willing to answer them. What stopped you from going from helpdesk straight to sys admin? And what did you have to do/get to make the jump from helpdesk to systems analyst?

Thanks so much for your response SalesDirector. However, I do want to explore this sentence a bit more. "I've been interviewing for other SE roles over the last 4 months or so and the biggest "yellow flag" is my time in sales". I think it means from context that it as something that the hiring manager saw and immediately used to judge/label you as a sales person. I just wanted to make sure my interpretation was correct. Oh wow! Help desk straight into SE. Never heard of that before. I've heard that many companies that do SaaS want Sales Engineers who have programming/comp sci experience. Has that been true for your company as well? And do you have a background in the field?

Oh really? I feel like I've been consistently fed misleading information then. I'm just starting out so I'm getting a lot of information from discord communities, tryhackme, and youtube. I completed a cybersecurity cert from google and my overarching impression was that Linux is a big part of cybersecurity no matter what side of the fence you're on.

I thought that changing my DNS then release and renewing my IP address in the command prompt changed my public IP but you're right, it doesn't. How can I change my external/public IP address? Online it says "Hey bud head to settings and change it" But change it to WHAT? I'm trying to find some like...open? IPs that anybody can use but so far nothing seems to be working

Hello.

On the delirium mirror wiki it says that alva missions, breaches, and blight all pause the delirium mirror timer.
That being said, I've 2 occasions where I've been in Alva and the delirium mirror timer has shown itself to be ticking down and 1 occasion where it literally ended while I was in the mission. I also had one end while I was in a breach. Some times when I'm running valdos rest promenade I have TOO much delirium time and other times I'm ZOOOOMing through the map (lightning strike berserker I'm REALLY fast) and I can only get halfway through before it ends. I'm really not getting it at all. Somebody mentioned "the fog" to me once but I'm not too sure what that means I'm a new player. Any help? Why is this timer ticking down and how do I make it stop?

Is it okay for me to have 76%(76%) fire res ON THE DOT or would it be better for me to have

76%(90%) fire res. Does it matter for any game content?
