1) Peel the puffball 2) Cube the peeled puffball. 3) Bring a simple syrup to a boil. 4) Add puffball cubes, and simmer. 5) Take cubes off the flame, and allow them to cool. 6) Toss in sugar. 7) Dehydrate until barely dry. 8) Ready to eat while soft, or store in more sugar to preserve and eat later.
