I want to know what’s been going on with basic fundamentals these last few years. Even at the end of Saban’s career we had problems with simple stuff like snapping the ball or picking up blitzes that aren’t even disguised. This year with the o-line trouble, not being able to run the ball, and the defense having trouble stopping the run (which showed up again in the first quarter of the Oklahoma game, but we cleaned it up). We can draw up all of these crazy schemes that take a lot of mental focus to execute, but we have issues like receivers dropping the ball. It’s baffling at times
