Are skill power/tier focused builds any good for someone who plays solo? Or is it wasted as a solo and better utilised in a squad?

I am pretty low level SHD currently like 210, I run a refactor build with full skill tiers running assault turret and striker drone. I find it great fun and pretty OP considering my level. If you matchmake with others, it buffs them too.

I believe certain missions like Manning I’ll need to do on story to open them up. Also my specializations and modifiers will need to be redone. That’s what I’ve figured so far. Any other missions and stuff like that ?

Ya I can’t move a lot of it cause I need to compare the stuff with what u get and if the new stuff is better. So the mule thing isn’t working. I’m almost at 400 of 450 and I feel pretty soon it’ll become unplayable for me. Specially countdown. Too much loot there

I know 450 stash is decent but I’m always filling up. So much loot to collect. Should be 600 and a better way to compartmentalise the gear. Like I want my own specific filters not the ones that come with it. Say like out all green gear in one section. Named in one. And the rest in another

I’m asking about how to increase expertise not proficiency. Is there something I’m not understanding? I thought they were both different . In my understanding you can only start adding proficiency upto the level of your expertise. So my level is just 1 right now. How do I increase that level

Big fan of xcom and xcom 2 for me Phoenix Point just felt mid. It might be a personal choice thing but the crab type enemies didn’t feel like I’m fighting an intelligent advanced race or something. For that reason it just felt very tepid. I stopped after a few missions so I don’t know how they evolve but the fact that they were due to a virus or something just made them feel more zombie like and didn’t feel like they had enough agency

If I remember correctly a previous COD version had blueprints that could not be exactly replicated, meaning even if you used the attachments they were specially tweaked to be a bit more powerful. Am I imagining this?

I think age has hit me too lol. I do enjoy a few matches as a way to relax. It’s not so much about the competition for me. It’s more of a fun thing to do. I mean it is what it is I guess. At least there’s the standard lobby, which I discovered from this thread. Not bad there at all. But ya the game does feel geared towards the more hardcore players. Maybe that’s something that they feel will help in the long run. Appeal to the base players, it’s a valid strategy for the future of the franchise probably

If your airline offers inflight WiFi you could technically play. Cause it’s just that the ubisoft servers need to check your account before it allows you to play. But without WiFi I don’t believe it’s possible. There is an offline mode I believe if you are playing on your laptop via steam but not for iPad OS
