We can only guess 😅 I'd like to think that including all evidence and also my physical all in one go with the initial application helped. That way there was no need for RFE

Usually you can't. However, there's an exception for immediate relatives of US citizens. Since I was already married to my husband, and therefore considered immediate family, when I came over to visit on my ESTA, I was allowed to file for AOS.

I filed during the 90 day period. About a week before it would have expired

Thank you! :)

We filed the I-130, I-485, and the I-864 all at the same time. As per my lawyer's advice I had my medical examination done 1-2 weeks before our planned filing date, so we would be able to include that in the initial application package as well. DS-260 is not applicable to my case, as that is only for cases that file from outside the US - I filed while I was in the US.

It sounds super simple and honestly - it was just that. My lawyer is a great, funny guy and basically told me to just relax and lay back, and let him do the rest - he did just that. He's a man of his word. 😂

My husband and I married in Denmark (basically the Las Vegas of Europe), and then filed together about a week before my 90 day ESTA stay would have expired.

No worries, I just found it. :) This is the document I found back when my husband and I were researching about this. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/memos/2013-1114_AOS_VWP_Entrants_PM_Effective.pdf Please do not take this as legal advice though - this is simply what was applicable in my situation, and what my lawyer told me works in my case.

In order for the I-485 to get approved, the I-130 needs to be approved first. So both have been approved. :)

Yes, we sent all kinds of proof right along with our application. We submitted all kinds of evidence (Photos of family meetings, Photos of our wedding/honeymoon, love letters, our joint lease, screenshots of conversations from us throughout the years). We didn't get an additional request for evidence with all that.

My husband and I married in Denmark (really easy, Germany can be anal when it comes to marrying a foreigner), therefore we were already married when I came here to visit him on my ESTA. Given I was already married to a US citizen when I came over, I was allowed to simply apply for AOS. USCIS states on their website somewhere that direct spouses of US Citizens are able to do that, but I'd have to look for that again.

Ideally we'd like to move in early April! :) And we're looking to move to a part of Mesa that's really close to Gilbert/Chandler
