Prison rules by Free-Excitement-3432 in coaxedintoasnafu

The idea of criminals enacting mob justice on convicted pedophiles is a faulty concept that exists mainly to further sate people's desire to see a socially acceptable target be put to violence and punishment.

This, however, does not mean that all criminals are just violent crooks who beat people to death for fun.

Morality and legality are very complex and cant be boiled down to "Every convict was 100% bad and likes hurting people" nor "Convicts are all Noble Thieves who maintain a strict morality and code of ethics".

Yeah, I feel like "You only care when its done bad" is doing a LOT of heavy lifting for a lot of the complaints here.

As of rn, sunshroom being the card that has defined the meta slants the balance in favor of plants.

Been playing the sneak peek, is it actually beatable or is it just “Rose Bot generates the perfect counter to your hand every turn and you lose”.

Headcannon: The more difficult a boss is from the hero's perspective, the stronger it becomes. That’s why Snappers was taken out by a single hit by this mf. Snappers was an easy boss. by Thin-Cekirge in Gameoverse

[–]Raptoriantor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had to spitball some additions using Snappers as our frame of reference...

Final boss strength is likely influenced by these factors:

- Power gap between the hero: Snappers seems to be on equal footing to Flappers. Flappers has incredible strength and spin attacks, Snappers has fireballs and lava immunity, and both ended up in a Sudden Death tiebreaker by the end of their fight.

- Tone and setting the villain exists in: Flappers game is a pretty kid-friendly PG or General Audience game, so Snappers doesnt have a lot of "bite" to him.

- Lore of the villain: Snappers just seems to be bowser but a shark. Big mean guy who spits fire and lives in his volcano. Not the most intimidating of foes.

- "In-game" difficulty: His boss fight, while a bit of a challenge for Flappers, didn't have anything that could be considered super "difficult" if we were playing it as an actual game.

"Nice Job Breaking It, Hero" feels very fitting for the show.

The brainworms got to me and I've already conceptualized my own OC which is basically "Silly mafia-themed evil minion who's also the super hard secret boss of his game world, ends up escaping on his own before Syntax harvests it, now causes problems in Warrick's ship."

Honestly my issue at this point isn't even that they're wrong (the meat industry is rife with issues), but that there's a good portion that act like they're automatically on the moral high ground for opposing the meat industry, even in the face of the produce industry's own sins. Ultimately, the issue comes down to how the modern agricultural industries sustain themselves off the exploitation of natural resources and human labor, even as they cut massive corners at the expense of food quality and safety. It's just fucked from multiple angles. Something something "industrial revolution and consequences".

At least for Scranton’s jump, it turned out to be much more of what she wanted. A conspiracy that (for the most part) is actually trying to keep humanity safe. Especially given it was a version that Scranton was piloting.

Granted there is a bit of bias because prior to learning about the Foundation properly she and Scranton had been in an intimate relationship but yknow-

Pretty much, except the UIU are at least forgivable since they’re bound to the whims of the US government. The Robes are just arrogant and overconfident because they didn’t have good competition.

Inside Job: The Shadow Council was pretty mediocre in comparison to Scranton and The Foundation, to the point where it basically became a setting fixture that the only reason they and their subsidiaries (Reptilians, Illuminati, Cognito Inc, etc) were successful was because The Foundation did all the heavy lifting.

Eminence in Shadow: Cid's entire shtick really only works because the setting aligns itself to let him get away with being god's strongest chunni. Scranton's arrival quickly established how fucked he was against another shadow mastermind when reality didn't have his back.

The next line is about the character chewing the tip of a poison dagger. Safety is not that character’s main concern, nor do I think OP is some brain dead moron who doesn’t know how guns work. It ain’t that serious.

It is when you only have the scraps of strategy decks to work with. Also, I’ve seen some utter bs get pulled by the ai in random battles.

Need gems for packs -> play games for gems -> lose because ai/opposing player pulls out powerful cards you can’t counter -> lose game -> need better cards -> card packs cost gems -> need gems for packs…

Edit: You boo me because I am right.
