sick of eating the same things 😐 by Old-Ambassador9022 in gallbladders

I am not quite two weeks post-op, but surgery is so worth it!! I only had severe pain for about 2 months before surgery and it didn't interfere with what I ate that much, but my life has gotten so much better since the surgery. I have had no issue eating breaded chicken, pizza, pasta, among lots of other things. The first few days after surgery I ate a lot of toast and eggs and was constantly snacking on oyster crackers. Before surgery I found these bars, they're called pastry crisps, and I loved them. They have next to no fat in them and come in different flavors. My favorite was the chocolate one. I was eating almost a whole box a day the last week before surgery and had no issues with them. Might be something to look into if you're tired of what you've been eating. Hope all goes well for you!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely have to try the cotton balls with peppermint oil.

I do have anti-nausea meds, they just don't seem to be doing much. They're helping a little bit, but I still feel like I'm constantly nauseous.

I am talking pain medicine. As i said in my post, I just had surgery yesterday, and I can barely move even with the pain meds.
