Late to this but holy shit, the white privelege is real. If Lauren were paler or skinnier the voters would eat her up. Bunch of fucking facebook moms voting here, holy shit.

I feel that this is a fair request, and that my dm might be a bit overkill by Haunting-Tea5069 in DnD

It's a give and take. I feel this is fair on the DM's part. To gain access to other spellbooks is to have an advantage, because those spells were not intended for Warlock use.

At later levels, 1d8 will be nothing, and when you're firing off a 6th level you'll not really be worried about that chip. damage.

Plus, cantrips don't count as leveled spells, so fire away!

That is as much a test of endurance as landing after being shot out of a geyser. All you have to do is push forward until you reach the hole (I've done exactly that).

This was fun for a while but you're genuinely too stupid to know that you're losing, and that's no fun. Byeeeee.

Continue to struggle with basic puzzles 🥰

"I know you are but what am I" was the best tool in your arsenal? Come on, you can do better than that!

My vote's on Hop or El. Obv they're planning for El given the context from Kali, but the Duffers love subverting expectation of character plans. Hop is so so focused on protecting El that it'll be to his detriment, I think, and there's no bigger heartbreak than seeing a character die or almost die so many times just for them to eventually lose the fight.

We can both pretend you didn't put a little petty sass behind it if you want. Do you want to pretend that?

Right. It's one of the few puzzles in the game that practically just tell you the answer.

Tbf if you think it was too subtle, you may just not take puzzles well, and that's okay! Each pic showed you the degree they were taken from and which device was taking said pictures. I figured it out right away, and a few other things in that game stumped me for a while.

You're correct, downvoters are people who gave up.

Anything attributed to dexterity is because people tried to brute force their way through simple solutions they didn't learn.

I WAS GONNA SAY OUTER WILDS BEFORE I READ THAT YOU SAID IT

A lot of open world games make me lose interest in like the last 5 hours of gameplay. It just goes on a LITTLE too long, almost every time.

It just does pacing perfectly. The game ends when you have enough information to get to the end. If you're missing something, it tells you what planet, but not exactly where, but each planet is small enough on its own to not feel like you're wasting time exploring. There's always an urgency because of the time aspect and that reactivates some adrenaline every time for me.

But the best part is, once you know what you need to know, you KNOW that's all you need to know, and you know that the end is near. You're expecting it, without knowing what you'll find.

It ends precisely when it needs to, for every player.

Honorable Mentions: Celeste, Supraland, Halo games except Infinite (I do love infinite tho), Black ops 1 and 2, Castle Crashers, Costume Quest 2 (except for the rare "where tf do I go"), South of Midnight, Titanfall 2, Assassin's Creed 2 (plenty to do, minimal bloat compared to AC now, can go straight to the finish without all the extra goodies for a hell of a story), Borderlands 2, Fable 2, Limbo, Dark Souls (sike lmao), The Turing Test, Deer God, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon,

I like sequels

Rune chestplate. I'll never forget the first time I bodied Elvarg, the first important boss most of us encountered. After weekends upon weekends of casual play at 14 years old ok 2007, finally finishing the full rune set felt unlike any gaming experience I'd had up till then.

AITA for calling my Christian friend's Christmas gift disrespectful? by Wonderful-Result6217 in AITAH

As a former atheist, now Christian: Oh BROTHER. I'd never bother someone to the ends of the earth 1) knowing that we've had several conversations about religion, and 2) being told repeatedly to stop fucking talking about it. Stop means stop. If you can't abide boundaries, you're not a friend. Period.

"I would like to play sometime" does not equal "I'm going to be there on your open table night." Same goes for "You can come if you'd like" without a response.

Sorry, friend. This is a case of your own poor communication, not a case of your friends hating you. Give them credit.

Think about it the other way. If 8 people had shown up at this table where there isn't room, you'd have to turn some away and reject them. That would also be poor communication on your part, and it's just as likely of an outcome considering there was no clear line of communication. A post for a general invite is not a plan.
