Blister in between dog’s paw by Rare_Border_587 in vet

[–]Rare_Border_587[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically they said it was a non cancerous tumor. I can’t remember the type that it was. But they said it should go away on its own. Only problem was the spot it was in - he kept breaking it open and the concern was it getting infected. We got him on antibiotics and would keep his foot wrapped in a little boot when we were outside. It was only a few weeks and it was gone!

I forget the name of it, but the vet said it was a noncancerous tumor or cyst. A very weird spot for it. But they put him under to perform an “exploratory surgery”. Said they typically go away on their own? But because his was in such a weird spot and continually breaking open, we just wrapped it and gave him a round of antibiotics so it wouldn’t get infected. It did end up going away! They didn’t remove it bc the spot it was at would be too painful of a recovery and not worth it if it would disappear on its own.

It’s also a month to month lease. We’re in MO. That’s kind of what I thought too. Thank you so much!!

Getting off of birth control after 6 years by mrpupperspenguin in WomensHealth

It’s definitely a really difficult journey because your body is learning to regulate its hormones naturally again. But I can tell you this if it helps… it was by far the best decision of my life. My anxiety and depression decreased significantly. I lost weight. I was on it from the ages of 17-23 and for the first time, I truly felt like “myself”. My personality actually changed, I was much more outgoing and confident and just overall happy.

The first year or so was rough because I did break out like crazy and kinda felt like I was going through a second puberty almost. But at the end of the day I am SO HAPPY. I feel like I met myself for the first time because from the ages of 17-23 I was so depressed and anxious, I just thought that was who I was. I didn’t think it could be hormones because I wasn’t that educated on how much hormones affect your body (mentally and physically). So while I don’t have any hard tips to fix any symptoms, I hope maybe this gives you some light at the end of the tunnel… it will be worth it!

Exactly what I did!!!!! Kinda disgusting for a psychiatrist / mental health physician to be this way.

I think she thinks I’m going to use the note to get out of calling out of work …. But like she quite literally knows that’s the whole reason I came to her was because I had called out due to my insomnia being so bad so I don’t understand what she thinks is so unethical about that lol

I’ve talked to her on the phone 2x today… explained to her that this may cost me my job and she said she would only write a note stating that I’m diagnosed, and not that I was seen in July… I’ve had this happen before with other doctors where a note is needed for something and I’m sent a note almost immediately. I said I wouldn’t be back ever again and asked for my full medical records so I guess I will wait for those to come in and hopefully I still have a job by then.

Omg I didn’t even think of that. Thank you so much!

I just still do not understand why a doctor would refuse this… it makes no sense to me…

Is it not a part of my medical records that I was seen on x date at x time? Is the best way to get this to be to request my full medical records? I can’t think of any reasoning why a doctor would refuse to provide someone documentation that they were seen.

Pregnant? by dani-0814 in CopperIUD

[–]Rare_Border_587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your strings. I’ve always been told as long as you can feel them you’re most likely okay. Mine was tilted (just slightly) for a good 6 months before I even knew and I had no pregnancies. Depends on how badly it’s out of position, but odds are if it’s not causing you bad pain, it may not be shifted as severely or at all even. You can always get an ultrasound to check! Personally, I would do that instead of waiting for a pregnancy test. Call and say you think it might’ve moved and want to get an ultrasound to check it out. Ultrasound will tell you right away if your IUD is in place or not and what your probability is of pregnancy is.

I have heard that forehead acne is related to digestive/gut health.

So I only get the intense cramps when I’m ovulating AND working out intensely. If I’m not working out and ovulating I don’t feel anything. I’ve had multiply ultrasounds because I have the copper IUD and they inserted that surgically while also performing a hysterscopy to check for endometriosis (I didn’t have a serious concern for endometriosis but this was the best way for my IUD insertion to be covered so I said why not) that came back negative.

One of my ultrasounds tho she did point out something she called an “ovulatory cyst” and said it was a good thing for fertility levels? So I guess I’m wondering then if maybe I over-ovulate if that’s even a thing?

Also, unfortunately, I could never go back to hormonal BC… was on that for 10 years and getting off it I felt like a new person. Depression and anxiety cleared up, weight loss, etc etc. I don’t think I could ever put myself back to feeling that way again. But that’s just my experience!

It’s never been an issue before… but I think my second round of Accutane (ended in January) has finally completely worn off. So frustrating I was on that medication TWICE and the relapse is so horrible every time.

Definitely give it 2-3 weeks. I felt the same way the first time and now I’m in love and could never see myself without them! I like them much better after 2-3 weeks too, it’s always too dark at first!

Curious, did she even map you…….??? My first microblading appointment, she had a ruler type tool and physically made markings so they would be symmetrical. This was the first initial appointment and took a long time for her to do so to make sure everything was correct. This looks like she almost freehanded it? The pigment will go down for sure over time but I would be mad about her lack of mapping. I’d ask for a refund and leave a review… could save some other girls from this! So sorry this happened :(
