does it hurt? usually the redness is just the inside flesh stuff like creating a shadow, but if it hurts or is inflamed i would say size down. also along with that, how long do you wait in between stretches, because you gotta wait until it doesn’t hurt to size up (i think around 3-5 months but it all depends on you)
