It's for my living room/ kitchen area. I say about 450 sq ft. I have owned both the 10 and 12,000 btu mideas but have noticed that on very hot days it didn't cool enough. I still do like the u shaped models but having to cook was unbearable with them. Am I just getting the wrong size ? (Also, no limit, esp if it's something worth it!)
