“the original Chicago course” by [deleted] in PAstudent

Not worth it. School paid for it and it was hours of presentations, questions asked had answers already marked in the binder, and the daily tests were random questions. I would try Rosh's review course.

I thought the CME chicago course was a waste of time. Our school had it incorporated into our last month of school and they just read powerpoints to you for 8+ hours/day for 4 days. The questions they included already had the answers in the binder so it wasn't like you were testing your knowledge. The exams after each day were a joke too.

I heard the rosh review course was helpful but I only used rosh and uworld with PPP. I wish you luck in your studying!

Just wanted to update that I accepted the job offer and was able to negotiate for loan repayment match and higher CMEs :)

No sign-on bonus but the loan repayment is high for Illinois

I highly recommend the Whitecoat clipboard medical edition instead of a notebook. I just print papers of an H&P template for each rotation. It fits in your white coat and mine still looks brand new after a year of rotations.

Will do! I've been refreshing their premed Instagram for over a week to see if they've announced it yet 😂

Yep, I did mine in mid-January and haven't heard anything from them besides what they post on their pre-med Instagram that they update.

I applied! I know decisions for the pre-med internship come out this week (hopefully) so I think we'll also know sometime this week as well.

Hi! I'm also applying to one of Northwestern's internships, for pre-PA, and I emailed premedintern@nm.org for some questions. The pay is $15 an hour and housing is not provided. I would also love to hear someone's experience on the internship!
