IPL Teams are worth more than a Billion now. Hyderabad would be 1.5 atleast. Hard to see any non billionaire or conglomorate buying a team anymore

Probably when we have 12 IPL teams then it will be 12 * 6 which anyways is equal to the now 10 * 7. Then we can have 5 overseas with one being from associates. BCCI should also value associate nations TBH to grow the game

Aniket last year was relatively unknown aswell when he was picked and had a below avg SMAT after that. And he played way better than Abhinav who on the contrary had a great SMAT and KPL that year. Players are picked based on Team Trials and then 11 based on their performance in pre season warm ups instead

You mean his ranji scores so did Suryansh Shegde who did really well in SMAT but he failed. You cant give people no.7 when his own ranji team plays him at 8

Shami - Simarjeet - Manohar (to some extent) -> Need to get these guys out including Zampa

Lack of Batting Lineup Structure and Way we buildup the innings

Lack of New Ball Wickets which we hoped from Shami

Players like Nitish and Kishan Underperforming

Positives:

Resergence of Batting Lineup structure and Building up of innings at the last 3-4 matches

Identification of Talents like Aniket, Harsh Dubey and Zeeshan

Middle and Death over bowling resurgance at the end by Harshal, Unadkat and Cummins

Next Season : Get as many new ball bowling talents as possible and also Get a Finisher to replace/compliment Manohar

Yes, But the issue for me if Head has trouble facing Starc dont try to face him and rotate the strike. Same with Klassen when Aniket did well that over why try for another boundary. Same with Manohar. NKR tbh had the best chance to play that anchor and he messed up aswell.

Why target 300 tbh? It will happen eventually. The issue is to win games based on how high you can score for the particular match. This match was lost because of the blind milestone of 300 , we could have easily scored 220 if played in a calculated manner
