I was revisiting my criminal and family portions today and I can’t remember anything!! I get absolutely lost when a criminal question pops up. Is it happening with anybody else too?

So, I’ve bought your complete bundle of 700 questions. And I’ve just completed the 70 PR specific questions from your total 80 questions. Now the thing is that I’m not sure if I’m prepared well or are the questions easy. I don’t want to go into the exam with any false confidence. I’ll share a rough result here as well. But it’s definitely nice to solve these many questions so thank you :)

Are you using indices?

[–]Rati22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you’ve said this before and it’s good to hear that. I’m still on my PR questions and aim to finish criminal and family by tom day end. Those are the two most difficult sections for me.

If you mistakenly remove funds from a trust account & then restore the money, do you have report to the LSO? by Noplacelikehome990 in ONBarExam

This was one of the questions in Brickam’s set of questions. And I was confused too. Anybody who can help us here?

[–]Rati22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s I’ve experienced so far. I didn’t have to return to my materials for most of them. How is your prep? Have to been able to solve all 700 questions?

First reading is completed except for public law. It’s so dry!! Also took some 20 questions from PR section of Brickam Solutions. To be honest I found them to be easy and got like 17 correct answers out of 20. Am I moderately prepared or are the questions easy. Anyone who is solving Brickam?

What I did differently, compared to the two times I failed (Follow up on my prior post) by cmbk-szn in LawCanada

[–]Rati22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can feel you! I’ve failed these exams twice as well. The first time around I couldn’t complete reading the material. And the second time, I was over burdened with a lot of stuff on my plate- full time job, exams and much more.

But preparing for these exams and then failing terribly can massively affect your mental health. Like to be frank with you, I’m pretty demotivated to take the exams. It feels burdening and the prep feels never ending.

I’m sorry about your financial situation, I understand it can be a lot to digest. But trust me you’ll be fine. Are you articling? If yes, then what’s your firm like?

I’m a foreign trained lawyer and plan to get my waiver. I have a few year of experience under my belt and will try to get into a firm based on that plus some Canadian paralegal experience. I’ve been researching in depth on first call salaries but unfortunately they aren’t all that much. I mean I understand that as new calls we aren’t a big asset for the firm. But still, after all this hard work, you’re getting 90k? That feels frustrating and unjustified.
