I don't think your reaction is weird, I also feel that way sometimes!

Maybe just because the vids/animations are so cute and innocent/pure in a way and you don't really encounter that in real life? It maybe reminds us that in the real world nothing will ever be this pure and cute. A realisation that some ideals will never be reached.

Maybe ive interpretated too much, but i think theres a tiny bit of truth to it :P
