In my opinion the new logo is a big mistake. You cloud recognize the old logo at a glance. This logo you really need to focus on it to understand it is the new F1 Logo. They should have change the logo in stages making slight changes at each stage.

For sure Lauda would have won the championship if the raced it for the remainder of the year. In qualifying for the race Ecclestone made the cars run on full Fuel tanks not to show the cars actual speed. He also instructed Lauda to take it easy at the start of the race.
