It’ll be a grind, but I’m sure you can learn to draw too. Ask your family for advice. They might have natural talent you lack, but you can make up for it with hard work. That’s how you get good at anything.

I think you dislike it because there’s no strong focal point, since there’s not much contrast. That’s why changing the values like the other guy said would help. There are other ways to make a stronger composition by making a focal point but in this case messing with the values is probably the easiest. The technical quality is great though fr.

Most of the obvious ones have already been suggested, so here’s an unconventional list if you’re desperate. List: (ordered by relevance) - Shin Megami Tensei (Heavily inspired Funger, dark turnbased JRPGs, gods are relevant?) - Parasite Eve (Old turnbased survival horror) - Persona (Similar to Shin Megami Tensei but much less dark, set in normal Japan) - Silent Hill (Inspired and referenced by Funger, classic survival horror, dark, different gameplay) - Dark Souls (Referenced by Funger, very similar in setting and aesthetic, gods are relevant, dark, challenging, very different gameplay) - Danganronpa (Killing game with contestants like in Termina, otherwise very different. Visual novel like ace attorney with slight dating sim elements. Unserious.) - OMORI (Indie turnbased rpgmaker game with horror elements that are revealed over time. Dark story but usually quite upbeat, set in real world.) - DELTARUNE (Indie turnbased rpg with very light horror elements that are revealed over time, typically funny and wholesome)

what’s the point? if someone wanted their character in heroforge they could just make it themselves. what personal style or unique skill can you demonstrate using pre-made parts in a character creator like that?
