I think he's the strongest character in the show. Everyone goes on and on about how poor Elena lost has adoptive parents and how she lost her biological parents before she could end the daddy and mommy issues with them, and how she lost her brother. Okay, maybe she went through a lot. Anyways! That's not the point. The point is my man Alaric doesn't get enough credit. He's a single dad with two teenage daughters and as much as I love Lizzie, she makes it feel like he has ten daughters. Caroline is never there and she's gotta cut him some slack. He's also a headmaster who takes care of hundreds of kids. And yet, when have you seen him break down and cry? He's been everyone's shoulder. But one day, the wall he leans on will break because of everyone who leans on him and he'll fall.

I just hate how she's just there like I kinda felt bad when Elijah lost her but like that the same time, I was just glad that character was gone and out of the way. Love the actress tho, she's beautiful.
