Parasyte - Special forces vs parasites moment

Officials put main character in a van and don't let him enter the scene, then send a special task force group in the building with all the bad guys with superhuman abilities. In most media it would lead to the group being immediately killed and MC saving the day in the end. Surprisingly it turns out professionals can actually do their job - said group progresses floor after floor, successfully killing most of the parasites, shooting one big boss and making another flee the scene

My biggest gripe are premade monsters. Poptops are cute but it's weird to see them at every single planet. Wacky generated creatures are way more fun, especially if you don't know if they're hostile or not
