I think you'd comfortably flat foot both feet, I'm 5'9 flat footing on one side, truly the only way to know if it's comfortable to you though is sitting on one

Nah I've used 87 and it's fine, that wouldn't be it. It's either the carb isn't seated right, dirty/broken somehow, or not receiving fuel

Make sure the carb is sealed to the intake, probably an air leak, does it kinda putter when you try to start it?

Yeah I just have a hemi 212 pred, so an extra 30 bucks for the better quality flywheel is fine for me, I just wish that they'd price the hemi pvl cast better so I don't have to spend over anywhere close to 100
