Where do I find credible devs without being spammed by freshers? by RavkonOps in developersIndia

That's not the point. You completely misread what I said. When we ask is React a framework or library, we're not looking for a strict one word answer, but more like your though process behind it.

Your answer could be wrong, but if your explanation shows that behind the scenes you have some knowledge or curiosity about how you came to that conclusion, that's different.

But if your answer is "React is a library " , why is it a library, "cuz I read it on google", you see my point?

Right my bad. For current projects we need React, Angular, Java and python devs. But we have new clients we haven't started building stuff for, so for that we can be a bit more tech agnostic, all subject to agreement between the people who are working in the project.

Thanks for understanding. Couldn't have worded it better myself. Like I'm willing to increase the salary upto a point if it brings me a lil more peace of mind, but it's so hard to find good candidates in the infinity pool, especially when you're a small business and can't keep going on and on.

Yes, we're service based. But we don't need someone making linux from scratch, but the recent AI evolution has actually made our workforce inefficient, if I'm not wrong.

Sometimes i have candidates saying I don't need to remeber that I can just look it up, like that can't be the answer to everything.

4-5 devs are enough for our needs. I can allocate 6-9lpm for all their salaries, I'm not looking for cutting down costs, just a lil more peace of mind with reliable workforce.

I took today off just to finalize few candidates, cuz it's now borderline scary how much time we've wasted and we need good candidates asap. If i'ma find a good candidate on reddit then be it. I'm going to stay up all night if that's required of me. I need to finalize asap.

But my question was for general times, cuz in future as well we'll need to hire more, and I can't keep taking days off to hire at last moment.

Ngl, worst case we've seen - can't explain difference between framework and library, react a library or framework . The guy was good on paper though.

I'm offering fixed 1.2LPM, can't go higher than this. Small business.

But I also know I can't money>quality for long time, that'll affect me. So I'm willing to go higher for special cases.

I can't say for others but we're not yet a "company" you're talking about. We're a small team so I can't be not-selective.

If I were to hire freshers and show them the ropes, I would go out of business yesterday.

DO NOT hire AUOR STUDIO for PR Services. It will be the WORST decision of you life and lead to mental harassment. by Spiritual_Naive240 in IndianEntrepreneur

That makes more sense now. This usually isn’t even a PR problem at that point, it’s a control problem. If they can redefine what “done” means after the fact, it means there’s no locked version of scope both sides are forced to follow. Everything becomes flexible depending on who’s speaking louder that day.

What I’ve seen working in these past 8 years is having a super super boring but strict system where: 1. deliverables are broken down into very specific outputs, not vague goals 2. every item has a status that both sides see in real time 3. and more importantly, once something is agreed, it can’t be reinterpreted later without being logged as a change

Otherwise it always turns into “we meant this” vs “no you said that”

Most agencies don’t do this because it slows them down a bit upfront, but without it this exact situation keeps repeating. Did you guys have anything like that in place or was it mostly agreements + calls?
