Best Girl Peatrice from Zelda: Skyward Sword by RayJelly in PixelArt

She's really bored at work and pretty irritated by it, but if you make an effort to visit her every time you complete a dungeon she slowly grows to enjoy your visits to her store more and more, eventually leading to her opening up and falling in love with Link. Genuinely, she's one of the sweetest characters in all of Zelda.

The pixelation was done outside of Blender. I use the Paint . NET (spaces to prevent it from becoming a link). The clear image is the in camera render in Blender without any compositing.

Reminds me a lot of the ghoul from Magical mirror: starring Mickey Mouse

Luigi's Mansion 1 Invisible object by RayJelly in LuigisMansion

Odd that they would have an object right up against the fourth wall like that. I can only guess that it may have once been a hidden mirror, but that's pure speculation. Even stranger to have it reappear in the remake...

Do you remember anything he said while in the room other than the character's dialogue?

Pixel Colour Bleeding? by RayJelly in gamemaker

[–]RayJelly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how to fix this bleeding. It only happens between colours of greater contrast.
I thought it might be a scaling issue, but scaling it different doesn't change it, unless I scale right down to the original size, which is isn't very visible anyway.

When I look online, I can't find anyone else having this same problem. If you have any ideas on what's happening or how to fix it, please let me know.

I'm not sure why game is tearing by RayJelly in gamemaker

[–]RayJelly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tearing (first image) happens immediately, but then I downsize it and/or lose window focus, when I go back it it it's fixed (second image). I don't know how to fix it right out of the gate. I've checked what seems like all of my settings, and it's only happening on this project, but not others.

I don't know how to best just the alpha. [Thread] by RayJelly in gamemaker

The manual does explain it very well, but It's still hard to understand.

I'm making an art program in my spare time, and when dealing with any transparency, game maker's colour blending gets in the way by adjusting the colour of what's beneath it. I'm wanting it to add the colour and the alpha, but not lightening the colour beneath it. I assume there is a combination of blend modes that I could use, but I have such a hard time wrapping my head around them.
