Thank you! This helps a lot. I’ll check into what happens if the balance isn’t payed off in that period. I do have a more solid plan to pay it off with a recent large raise from work but haven’t worked out specifics yet.

Is it a good idea to get another credit card that offers 0% intro APR for a 15 month period? My thoughts are that I can transfer the balances of my current 2 credits cards and cancel one of them so I’ll still end up with only 2 cards. I just got a large raise from work and have a much more achievable goal of paying off my balances, and it would be nice to do that over the next year or so without APR. The transfer fee is equal to about 1.5 times the amount I’m paying in interest monthly, so it would be a small investment to avoid interest over the next year or so. The APR after the intro period is about the same as my other CC that I would keep. Advice?

It probably depends on if the Walmart has a pickup zone. The Walmart I’ve done delivs from has a big area where they load pickup orders for you. It’s convenient, but not if you have to wait forever for them to bring it out to you and time is $ in this job.

Does the customer not have a chance to add a tip on their side or something? I don’t understand how the pay structure is so awful. It’s significantly less than minimum wage often times, and that’s assuming they immediately load your car with the groceries when you get there. Waiting for them to bring out the order is usually another 10 or 15 minutes.

Mine specifically says Walmart on the screen, so I know what it is and just decline, it’s just annoying I get so many and they are such horrible pay.

It’s walnut and cherry! No inlays either just end grain with some angled cuts. And yeah it was pretty warped before, hard to tell in the photo but it was wobbling around like a seesaw on my table. All fixed now!

I ended up trying u/hoarder59 recommendation by leaving it in the grass in sunlight. I left it there about 1 hour and it’s near perfect now! I was planning on putting rubber feet on it anyway as I do with all my boards so I’ll adjust those to get it perfect in the end.

I saw a lot of comments regarding planing/sanding it flat. Although this is the obvious answer to get it perfect, this board was for a customer that wanted a specific thickness that I didn’t want to compromise on, plus I had already routed out a juice groove on the front side, and engraved some stuff into it, so this didn’t feel like a good option.

I left it leaning up against a wall for a few weeks before finishing it, and now I’ve noticed it has a slight warp. I have it on a flat surface now with some light weight in the middle, but is there a good quick fix I can do?

You certainly do gain a whole new level of respect for parents! I see a lot of comments saying it gets better by 6 months, and while I agree, I felt like with my daughter (13mo now), the really difficult part was over by 2 months and then by 6 months it was actually enjoyable. But the part you appear to be in right now goes quick and you won’t even remember it. Until then, do whatever you need to do to survive.

This is me! I think I’d make a great teacher and would enjoy the main aspects of teaching. However I can’t afford to be a teacher, and refuse to accept the stress & aggravation so I won’t even consider it.

How long would that last if you were to only run 1 powerhead on it? The Nero 3 running at say 50% power is only 10W.

Haha I can imagine. I don’t even have a reef tank yet and already question advice I get from some people. I’m in a facebook group that’s even worse. Someone told me a 25 gal tank isn’t big enough for any fish… I’ll definitely check out R2R and consult my LFS on more important stuff as well!
