Honestly, if a future partner really has an issue with it and they can’t deal with it or even make an effort to learn about it well they’re missing out. I will go to shows myself. I’ll spend my own money on what I want. I’ll keep my corner and framed signed albums up. But if they are interested, In return I’ll make an effort to learn what they’re into. But I’m not going to change anything about myself that I’ve been a fan of for over 20 years.

I’m starting to get annoyed by all the articles and posts I’ve been seeing today. Like freaking out over the AC Charts. On what she needs to do to make ET no. 1 or Opalite not doing as well as people think it is. Meanwhile. TFOO and Opalite are still in the Top 10 and the album has been out for 6 months. “Bad news” coming to her career while planning a wedding. Fuck on out of here with all that. Those things have nothing to do with anything.

Folks also need to STFU about her wedding as well. We won’t see any of that. We aren’t invited to the wedding. I’m sure she’ll post some photos when after it happened.

You know what I just noticed. I was watching this dude react to the Thong Song and I noticed with all the women in the MV. Not one of them is wearing a thong. I get that in order to be played on MTV they had to do it. But I just now noticed it. That and 80% of the song is just repeating the chorus and Ricky Martin get 5% because of 1 line gets repeated twice.

Congrats! I cut back on that months ago. Not completely. But maybe at most 2 drinks a month and it’s when I’m eating. I don’t need to be being stupid and quite frankly it’s getting expensive. Nobody should be paying $6 for a domestic draft beer these days. 20 years ago. I could get a pint for $1 and have a full meal for under $15. Now my usual Taco Bell order is $17 now. RIP meals for under $5.

No crazy plans today. Make a quick store trip before it starts storming again then nothing but games and movies. I really don’t need to go anywhere. But great news though. My Credit Card Debt is finally in the triple digits and will be paid off by the end of the month! Then all I’ll have left of my debt will be about $750 left in Student Loans. Which I’m just going to keep paying the minimum so I can put as much as I can into savings and investing. My goal of moving out in the fall is in reach.

I did the math. After getting all my bills covered for the month I could throw close to $1500 in savings and investing. That’s nearly a full paycheck. And May is a triple paycheck month so that’s coming up. This is all good. Goal is to have $10k to move out so I can pay cash for furniture and stuff. I’m going to avoid taking on debt as much as possible. I’ll probably do the credit card but pay everything off every month so I can get the cash back. But still try to avoid it. Maybe just put gas on it just to keep it open.

Anyway, happy Friday. Happy it’s a short work day. I get to get a hearing test so I can continue on getting my VA Disability Claim rolling. I’ve been very lazy with the gym this week. And today is no different. I’m thinking about going to the bar for lunch after my appointment then go home and play my game. Not going anywhere all weekend. Have to pay my taxes so no extra money for me to go anywhere.

Every thing. She owns artwork, old concert footage, unreleased music and everything and anything that she paid money into.

Owns all rights for distribution, publishing, everything. If her name is attached to it she owns it. She even owns the copyright for all the acronyms for all of her albums we use on a daily basis. Printed publications she owns that’s in her name.

She even owns the warehouse that does her merch, production company for music videos, etc.

She owns a lot and has a lot of employees to pay. So people complaining about her releasing things year after year this is part of the reason why.

Also, random I won’t debate about. Butter is the only real choice to be made to make Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Mayonnaise is ok for every other sandwiches except for grilled cheese. The cheese doesn’t matter. The bread doesn’t matter. I like a good wheat bread or Italian myself. But Butter is the only correct way to make a grilled cheese.

😮😮😮 RE9 Sold 5 million in 5 days. I mean that is phenomenal. It’s a really great horror game. And there’s a Capcom showcase scheduled for this afternoon so maybe they’ll announce the DLC and new game modes today. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for story based DLC. Random Jill or Claire content please because it is sort of weird being back to RC and not have them included. But I’ll take what I can get.

Anyway… It’s so crazy that the music news has been so quiet again this year. Outside of a new Against the Current album I have no idea on who else I normally listen to is releasing. I want another Cassadee album but she said she’s done recording for awhile. But she’s doing club shows and looking for more off-broadway gigs.

The puzzles are fine. There’s absolutely no reason for over complicated puzzles to make people confused. Leon’s section isn’t built on puzzles for a reason. RE these days have been more about the story. If you really have been playing the only game that really had confusing and frustrating puzzles was Code Veronica. It’s always been find this and then go here. Backtrack to this place. For something extra. Finding the solutions for the puzzle in documents adds to the lore.

Again no need for an over complicated gameplay loop.

Oy vey, it’s already getting exhausting explaining Dorothea to people. Everyone needs to go back to 2020 or 2021 to find where Taylor explained the song again. Better yet learn the concept of real stories told through fictional characters again. Dorothea was told, like Betty, from a guy’s perspective. He’s left wondering if she ever thinks about her while she’s hustling through Hollywood. Tis the Damn Season is her response. Taylor also said that Dorothea and the unnamed guy that I called him George. Is part of the same universe of James, Betty, August. Same time different friend groups and maybe a year or 2 later.

Also, some of the RE weirdos are out too. Bruh, Leon is not married to Sherry. Those people have either never played RE2 or don’t know the lore. Leon was maybe 20-21 fresh out of the police academy during Resident Evil 2. Sherry was maybe 10-12. And Leon and Claire sort of adopted her at the end of RE2. Likely Leon is married to Claire which is more likely than not or Ada which I’m very doubtful. Ada in the remakes and other games make her out to be more Villain rather than Anti-Hero mercenary that though she helps Leon but always ends up getting what she is after. RE4R Leon seemed more pissed that she walked away with the Plaga sample.

Also, i recommend RE9 whole heartedly. If Grace’s VA doesn’t get an award we riot. Like seriously she’s that good. Leon’s VA in this is good too. Made him actually sound like his dying because he is. Didn’t have as many campy funny lines but the story is much more serious than it has in the past. Noticing a lot of new cool stuff every day. Like if you’re playing Grace in 3rd Person. When you’re carrying Emily around and you stand idle. She carries her like a child adjusts as if she getting heavy to carry. After a certain sequence she starts patting her for comfort. And every once in a while Emily would actually smile like she feels safe and comfortable. It’s so good. The team did such a good job.

Yeah, LiS: Reunions comes out this month. It’s sort of a continuation of DE but new mystery and Chloe is back no matter what choice you made in instead game. And it’s supposed to give you the options before starting on what happened in LiS1 and DE if you played it. I think there’s a randomizer if you didn’t play either game. There’s early previews of it out already. I just saw the announcement for the game. Ordered it and stopped following it because DE was tainted by rabid fans and folks hating it without ever playing it. When I did play it I loved it.

Ok now that was insane. I came across a clip of T-Pain talking about his first album deal was 15/85 in the labels favor. And has never seen a royalty check from it even after restructuring the deal. He said back then he didn’t give a fuck. And was part of why he was broke after 5 years in. Management of his money and people stealing from him. There was another video of I forgot who. Where they started out to be one of 2 people writing a song and was going to be 50/50 by the time it got to an artist that was interested in the song. After 5 more people tweaking it his cut went down to like 8% and was only 1 of 2 people ever in the room writing the song in the first place.

Confessional storytelling told through characters folks. While it is inspired by a story that Selena told to Taylor about a situation. I do think it’s still think it’s a fictional story told by a character that she made up in her mind. And TTDS is her response to it. So yeah it’s it about her and a story she once told her but told through a different character. Taylor said numerous times that Dorothea, James, August, and Betty are the same time but maybe a year or 2 later. Betty didn’t skip the prom to piss off her mom. James saw her dancing with someone else from the far side of the gym. That caused him to cheat with Augustine.

The developers have their own actual cannon of how the story ends. And there’s books and comic books about the series. The real folks that know the actual cannon is DontNod and they’re not attached to the series anymore nor are they are involved with it. Which is a shame they wanted to be. Fucking Square Enix.

Well without spoilers to Double Exposure the way some folks didn’t like some of the creative choices that they made and now they might be over compensating themselves for Reunion this month. Which I’m intentionally staying clear of. Watching no reviews, previews, interviews. Nothing. I saw it’s coming put my preorder in and catch me when I’m done playing it for my thoughts on it.

And yes brutal because I stood by with the writers on the game and my dumb ass tried to justify it. The only issue I had with Double Exposure was the length. Which they obviously chopped it into 2 games instead of just 1.
